alright, not it doesnt happen all the time, but at times after an opening, the girl sometimes laughs at what i said and says "your cute but your too short to be my type" Now i have no idea what to say to this, it seems like all chances just got thrown out the window, i usually respond with, "im too short to come over here and talk to you? can you not hear me up there?" but no matter what i say it seems like the girl just gave me the ultimate shit test and i have no idea how to get through it. ideas will be helpfull =) oh, and i am about 5'4-5'5

That is if I thought it was a shit test, if the girl is taller than you though I think she is just being blunt about the fact she has no sexual desire to bang a short guy. To which you'll need to disarm her and kino the fuck out of her if you want any.

Don't let any physical characteristic become a limiting belief - saying "I'm too short / fat / ugly / bald / poor to get a girl" is a self-fulfilling prophecy because you will be going into interactions thinking negatively and that negativity will reinforce itself when you get blown out of a set.

This is just a standard shit test. She's framing the interaction and seeing if you're pussy enough to let her do it, or man enough to take that frame and bust through it. If you've got a strong enough frame stuff like that should just bounce right off you. You can either just ignore what she said and change the subject, or playfully counter with something about her being shallow by judging people based on an arbitrary characteristic "so how is the weather up there in your ivory tower of prejudice and hypocrisy?", or pick something random about what she's wearing and be like, "well my type is definitely not someone who wears crazy shoes like THAT, so I guess we're both going outside our comfort zone today, huh?" Those are random examples I just pulled out of my arse but the point is, don't let her ruffle you with shit tests, just plow right through them and you'll get serious points for being confident and not letting yourself be walked over.

That is your best bet. Something like that, where you dont stay on the topic of your height, and instead put it back on her with a neg. Perfect.

real talk, I don't even deal with shit test anymore, if a girl wants to play hard-to-get with me, she's only playing with herself...

As a fellow short guy, here's my take:

1. "You're too short" during the initial stages of interaction IS a shit test, while "You're too short" after conversing for a while means, "You haven't done ANYTHING to get me attracted to you, why don't you move on?" Men are literal beings. If we're hungry, we say we're hungry. If we want something, we tell people we want that thing. Women on the other hand speak in code. It's our job to decipher it. Telling you that your "short" after a good chat means that you FELL SHORT of hooking her. Period.

2. In regards to insulting her right back. Hey, do what ever you want to do. Try this 10 times and let me know how it works out for you. All you'll be doing is momentarily satisfying your insecure needs to take a poke at an "eye for an eye". Well, if this is your goal, go for it. For those whose goal is to "PICK UP", I'd suggest you stick to your pick up strategy and not allow offhand remarks to morph you into a disgruntled 12 year old whose mommy didn't buy him an ice cream cone.
