I was friends with a couple for 5 years, they split up and she then rings me up for a drink!

I go out for a drink with girl, as friend twice, she flirts with me big style, lots of her making phys contact, and drop hints about the next man she wants to date which to be honest describes me to Tee!

I think it is a sure thing and this is where I drop the clanger, I send flowers saying how about being more than friends, get a text back saying not after a relationship!!!!!

Any help on the next stage of the game plan would be aprreciated?

No, no, no and no. Do not do that. The reason why is that seriously, if someone drops you a clue and you need them to confirm it, what does that say about you? If I give a clue like that to a girl and I have to confirm it afterward I will rather think:
Wtf, is she stupid?

Have got to admit I am into her, and yes sex would be a good thing

Have also got to admit this has stumped me, I was thinking this was a definite thing!

Update, just had a text reply to an email I sent 4 days ago, how long should I leave it before I reply?

Hmm the general lines of those email and text might be usefull might be usefull.

If u like us to 'wing' it ; simply the fact that she replies with a text on a mail indicates she expects a "quicker" responce , i would say 2-3 days (leaning towards 2).
