Have any of you old guys ever had a LTR with a young girl, like 15+ years difference? I have a class with this really hot girl and I'm trying to decide if I should try to ask her out, but I kind of feel like it would be undignified because our age difference is so great. I look really young, so she doesn't know how old I am. I'm torn because this girl is exactly the kind of girl I'm looking for.

dont worry about age mate, it doesnt mean too much. Just game as you would a girl your age, and see what happens.

Really? Do guys think that lying about it is a good idea? I could probably say my real age and she would think I was pulling her leg. That's happened to me before. The only problem is that I have a Facebook account, which makes it pretty obvious how old I am.

He felt pretty bad about not telling her, honestly. But he felt like it could have been a problem for her before they'd gotten to know each other. I'd say just don't bring it up and let her guess... if she guesses younger just agree.

Do women even care if you lie to them? I mean, it doesn't seem like they do, unless it's about sleeping with another woman or something.

Do Not Lie about your age!!!!! Don't bring it up either; age will only be a problem if you act like it's a problem. Here's a little something from "The Layguide" you should find helpful:

Somehow we got on to the topic of age... She guessed I was in my early 30's, but after I told her I was in fact 40 she has stopped flirting.
So age can put a lot of young girls off.
Having said that, I don't have any luck with girls of any age, I think they can smell a 40yr old virgin.

Next-time dont tell your (real) age. Just tell her she's right, 40 is the new 30!

Don't put yourself down, stay positive. You've a advantage upon all of this, a 23yr old girl liked you, you've learned from the approach she find you quiet attractive, but 40 was a door slamming exit for her. I would seriously tell her what she wanted to hear, if i were in your shoes.

Yeah, I'm failing to see the advantage of being honest in this situation, because a girl's hangup on age is pure bullshit anyway (Wicker Man's story being a case in point), so you're just bullshitting a bullshitter.

DO NOT LIE!!!!! Once you lie, you're stuck to that lie. If she figures you out you're screwed. Remember, if a girl is turning you down because of your age it just means she can't find a REAL reason to shoot you down. You need to make your age an advantage. Most women like older men, what they don't like are AFC's. So don't act like one. You do not need to lie to a girl to get into her pants, and, if you do, it better be a one-night-stand otherwise she'll think you're a total creep when she finds out and will tell you to go f-close yourself. Just do what I suggested; make it seem like if she rejects you for being older it means that she is too immature to date a real man.

It's not like women give logical reasons for rejecting you. Most of the time they simply cease contact, so there is no opportunity to mount some kind of elaborate defense.

Age is a HUGE issue in America. Another result of the feminist movement. Don't deny it. It is there and will be there. Just like the fact that 35% of American college females are fat according to recent studies. Just like the fact that those same females think flip-flops look good. Some stuff you just have to deal with if you insist on creating roots in America or even England.
