I'm a black pick up artist in NYC and am successful. To say one is successful you have to first have a clear definition of what that means for you. Each of us have our sticking points and our areas that come more naturally to us. Society also gives us a boost/set back with our cultural origins. Blacks have it just as all the other races. It's just the blind leading the blind for generations of men. Our fathers failed us....sorry to say. Sadly there are those that have all areas where they are unsuccessful but the good news is that you can learn to become a more successful social being. On a more personal note, never really had issues getting a woman and having sexual relations. I'm not the best looking person and neither the worst. The issue was getting the woman I wanted, consistently. Looks matter to women, whoever said it doesn't is misleading you. However, if you're lacking in one area you have to just be stronger in the others. You can't fix how you look...you're just born that way....but what you can fix is bad hygiene, lack of social understanding, level of education, finances, personality, etc. You can shape these things which are apart of the master formula which females weight higher anyways.You will never get the woman you want 100% of the time because that's just improbable; however you can develop your knowledge set in a way will allow you to be more a socially conscious person and you'll be working with more information and internal resources.

Black music?

I know that you did not intend for that comment to be interpreted negatively, but that type of attitude is just a hint of the subtle derogatory sentiment that works against the black population. It's unfortunate that same mindset is prevalent in our society.

I'm half Black and half White but I have a very light complexion and light eyes- Most often people would NEVER think that I was part Black- and because of that I am able to see first-hand the regard many people hold Black folks in- it is sad.

I don't know why.. but it seems that the representatives of the Black population seem to be Rap & Hip Hop artists along with other celebrities. In my opinion most of the Rap artists out now are clowns.. with lyrics that resemble modern-day nursery rhymes. No content whatsoever!

On another note I am somewhat similar to toocoolforshool in that I am (part) Black and have never had any probs getting laid- However I would rarely approach women- therefore I'd never get the ones that I truly desired. Its far more convenient and one has far less at stake when you have women approach you and/or they are giving you ioi's the whole night without you having to speak to them first.

I'll tell you what though- with women like that- I can guarantee you that you are not the only one that they've done this with... so it's nothing to feel special about. Also, these women tend to be promiscuous and/or overly-aggressive. Some men like that- however it's the furthest thing from what I am looking for when considering a woman for a more serious relationship.

I use do roll with a black guy, (I'm flourescent white) and the mere fact we were boys would turn heads and attract alot of female attention.

Here in Vancouver,Canada I think african-americans(canadians?) have it a little easier to game chicks, Girls around here have some sort of fetish towards them due to not having many around here. Id love to have a african-american wingman as it sort of attracts chicks but Id be worried about all the chicks being naturally attracted to him right away leaving me pissed and more AFC than before.

What's the best time of the year to go and what part do you recommend?

Depends on where you go, from what I heard the east has a little bit more of a black population. Vancouver this time of year is great, we have pretty great beaches full of poonanny. We have a fairly good club scene in vancouver(at least thats what ive heard, Im not 19 yet to know first hand)

Edit: I don't really recommend coming to canada in the winter, vancouver its raining about everyday in the winter. The rest of Canada in the winter is full of snow.

I understand what the poster is saying and why.
Due to cultures sometimes the approach to women can be different. For instance, the women that are picked up on tv arent the kind of women I shoot for. I like thick chicks and the culture and set up is different. A black, asain, or any minority race is not represented on the TV as far as pick up artist is concerned. I guess thats why it's on tv. The poster is probably black and would like to see that representative or perspective whether it is a difference in approaches to picking up women is up for debate. However, getting a different point of view sometimes ease the mind. Remeber when people go to various enviroments there is a different way to go about getting women. I am black and I like my women super thick and the women on tv doesnt represent how to approach the kind of women I go for. Although, I don't consider myself a pick up artist in the TV sense, I am intuitively a mack,lol. I dont teach it I just do it!

I'm asian myself, I think part of the reason why there are fewer black puas is because most black people are getting laid quite regularly and there are less of a need for learning this stuff. I'd find a african american wingman pretty fun to hang out with tho, haven't even seen a african american pick-up artist yet in my two years.

Anyways, Vancouver's night scene is alright during the weekends, weekdays can improve. What's good during the winter here is between late November up until Boxing day at metrotown for daygame. (Metrotown is the biggest mall in BC)
