I use my skin and my hair as a peacocking item. I have cornrows so basically girls seem to dig it and keep asking if they can touch it and so .

Also a good sense of fashion and that's it.

funny thing is, i myspaced some random girl from out of the blue this morning, and now im picking her up later tonight in it. score!

i found a a pair of girl's sunglasses one day on the street when i was like in 7th grade and it was just sitting in my room all this time. I decided to try it out for peacocking, and would wear it on my head whenever i went out to a party. Let me just say the girls LOVED IT. I even got a succesful 1 min k close when i was walking down the street due to the glasses. unfortunately ive misplaced them for the time being........

How do you know your peacocking works for you? How do you know it's your peacocking and not just you despite your strange way of dressing? Do you get feedback, do you ask for feedback?

If you are getting attention from what ever you are using to peacock more often than not it is work, especially if you are getting girls trying to make eye contact with you or are playing with your peacocking items or commenting on them. The whole point of peacocking is to get attention.

Thanks jurupa. Yes I know the point of peacocking, but I was curious how to actually measure the effect. Sometimes I can't be sure if the attention I get is because of my peacocking or not. Sometimes I know it for sure, for example if the girls comment on my outfit or peacocking stuff. I never comment on them myself.

My best and the most surprising peacocking item has to be my camouflage field jacket/shirt. With provoking nationality signs on it. It really drew attention, it was hard to believe. I get approached, commented on it, part of the girls smile at me and flirt with me openly. Part of them obviously hate the outfit. But i get approached even when I'm inactive myself.

The other favourite stuff are:

- My cheap chunky and cool looking watch.
- two different colour scarves made into one scarf.

I wear leather bracelets and heavy boots but these are just part of my style everywhere, I don't see them so much as peacocking

Straightened bangs. Spiked everywhere else. Asian-style.
Designer glasses.
Polo shirts usually with 3 open buttons and rolled up sleeves.
A vest.
Suspenders.
A chain necklace.
A puzzle ring (Great routine. Get her to try to solve it).
Seiko watch.
Wrist band.
Tight jeans.
Leather Converse shoes.
Lacoste Red cologne.
(Cold weather) Zara peacoat.

It pulls together really nicely.

Well,I can't peacock too much,since I would be made fun of at school,but usually,this:

My height (6'4",195cm) combined with my blond hair which I style in a cherokee-like style gets me always noticed.Around my right hand,I have those small sony ericsson earphones wraped,a chain around them,and a nice leather bracelet with few metal skulls on it. I also wear a ring,it is a skull with a helmet.Girls like it,always ask about it.

I just use different items that stand out. Usually necklaces, wrist bands, and rings.

One time I got REALLY drunk and I was with some girls and some friends, and for some reason we found or bought (can't remember) a box of condoms, the ones where there is like 12 or so condoms in a roll, and they are all kinda connected with each other, so the condom packets make like a loop, and we went to a club and I thought it'll be funny if I wore the condom packet around my neck like a chain. It did get quite alot of attention and people thought it was funny, although I don't think this will always work, in my particular situation I came in the club with like 4 girls and I gave of heaps of social proof (I knew the bartenders, I knew the security guard aswell so I didn't have to wait in line or pay entry). And like many other people knew me because I used to be a regular there.
