This party was totally shoulder to shoulder and I could NOT game for shit. I dissapointed myself.

Anyway, How can I grab some attention or open up in this condition because it is NOT the same

It really depends on the kind of party you are at.

As a college student, I've found that most of my party success has come from being "that guy" at parties. In a crowded setting you wanna be the guy that's having the most fun. An excess of positive energy is never a bad thing. My game always deteriorates if I get really drunk. But I feel like if you're the guy that's always involved in drinking games and big social interactions you're already ahead of other guys who are standing on the wall and/or socializing only with other guys.

One of the best openers i've found has been is the "WOOO" opener (Mehow). I've just approached a set and said "WOOO" with a lot of positive energy and cheers everybody in the set. Try a cold read on a girl you're interested in, then make a comment about her and/or give her a nick name, then ignore her. Never express too much interest in the set, and don't spend too much time there. You can leave and come back later and "remember" her for the cold read you did earlier. As the party dies down you can try and work her away from the set and run some attraction on her. For a really crowded party it's pretty hard to control attention for an extended period of time.

Also remember to treat her unattractive friends kindly, and include them in any conversation. Earning their trust could mean the difference between her going off with you to run some attraction or even leaving to go home with you.

Its crowded, everybody try to move somewhere. You cant stop and just start conversation because, 1. you will get pushed away because "you are on somebodies way" 2. nobody hears you well

So, your talking skills cant be used. What do you do? SURPRISE, kino. Kinoing doesnt require silence.
