Like most people on here, i got interested in this whole thing after reading the game. I have never really had much of a problem with getting girls, I've always done pretty well, but after getting into this all, i can see where i've been going wrong in certain situations, and have cut out any 'AFCness'
I took up Gamblers kind offer on getting his book for free a while back. I have to say it is a good book (i'd recommend it), and there were a lot of techniques that i use in it which i used to do naturally. My game was very similar to his, but obviously he has perfected it brilliantly whereas i havent really gone out to practice it all the time to perfect mine. He has some great openers which i have used.
I usually make observational humour as an ice breaker, like for example, if a girl had a huge handbag i'd say something like, "jeez look at the size of that, are you going on holiday or something", then she either laughs or runs along with it saying "yeah I am" and i'll carry it on sayin cool, where you off?, then i'd say ive been there and talk about that or tell her i'm coming and can you fit me in your hangbag, and link arms with her as a joke.
Most of this i do after a few to drink to be honest! sometimes i'm on form, others im too drunk to get in a zone.
However, I always try to make deep emotional connections, and I think this is a reason girls always see me as a boyfriend rather than just a fling.
I got chatting to a girl on facebook for the first time the other night, and we've already arranged a date for this weekend . It was crazy, and some of you guys might want to use this one....
We were talking about travel and stuff and she said she liked developing herself etc with new experiences, ideas, cultures. She mentioned something about getting her future read and I mentioned i read up on my star sign traits last week and it described me really accurately... I tried hers on her and she got really excited by it, and when i told her she was amazed, she thought it was totally accurate... we then talked about all these really deep theories and thoughts and the connection was there on the first night.
She really wanted to show me a movie called the Zeighteist (sp!?) so invited me round to hers this wkend for wine and this movie etc... who knows where it will go, we met for lunch today too.
I used a site called psychicguide - if you put "star sign traits" in google it should come up (I cant post a URL yet as I havent posted enough!)
click on your sign and see if its true for you... It seems pretty accurate whether you believe in it or not.
This was similar to the kind of cold reading that gambler uses but didnt require any practice (just a copy and paste). It also saves using magic tricks or making up stuff about cubes which all seems too bloody time consuming!
Reading people and getting it right is a sure fire way to impress them, I couldnt believe how much it worked, and we just totally opened up to eachother after it. Its like we've known eachother for ages and its only been a few days.
