Got this girls number and she has texted me a few times over the weekend asking me if I knew of anything going on, I kind of blew her off and told her we already went out for the night. Then two days later she text me again and asked me to come help her stain and sand a table (W T F) what dose that mean! haha to me I saw it as me being a little bitch so I said no I am still out of town (which I was). Then my bro last night was like “dude she was trying to get you to come over” and I guess I did not see it. I want to hang out with her so any advice on what I need to do to real it in she seems like she might be a hard chick, so how do you approach this?

When she said that she wanted you to come over and stain the table, it sounded like she was thinking about doing something fun for both you and her. (believe it or not, it actually is a pretty fun project to do with a girl) Plus it would give you a lot of time to talk with her, get some IOI, neg her a bit, ect.

She's probably not going to go down the "will you help me with ____ project?" because you already blew her off once with that. Maybe she'll go for something a bit low key next time.

Perhaps ask her how staining the table went, and where she's going to put it. That's a great opening line to get her to talk about herself, and take it from there.
