I am vision impaired and it's hard for me to pick up on IOI involving eye contact and stuff from far distances (I'd prefer not to hear anything about contacts and such as I have them and they only bring me to about 20/60)

In you guys' opinions do you think I have more of a challenge than a lot of other guys? I have always felt like I do because I don't notice these things and who knows how many opportunities I've missed out on in my life because of it?

The other thing that goes along with this is that because of it I can't drive, thus making it a lot harder to bounce somewhere and really seemingly leaving me the TB option. There have been a lot of times to where I have lost out because I can't drive (it seems to turn women off) yet it's really out of my control and I like to tell myself "their loss". My friends agree with my thoughts of it being their loss as well. Hell I've even gotten the comment "im not a taxi service" before. In Austin, the bus only goes so far and some places take 30 minutes to 2 hours to get to that would normally be like 15-30 minutes away by car.

I suppose I'm looking for opinions from people who don't really know me as to maybe how you would think and react and whatnot. Are my thoughts justified?

I'd say you're not really at a huge disadvantage. The most common IOI's are physical, so you dont need owl vision to notice them.

As far as not being able to drive, thats a legit disadvantage. Try to stick to dates in walking distance of your or her house.

Just curious, are you legally blind? If so, its pretty insane that you can still game.

That's not that easy, Austin is a big place and people can be from either north or south or east Austin. The only place near me in reality is the grocery store haha. I can get to wally world on the bus which takes about 15 minutes. I also have the option to hop on the bus and go down to south congress and I could walk up and down doing street game and shit. Clubbing and stuff is usually out of the question though and since a lot of the things I read say a coffee date or something is lame, it limits my options a lot.

Yes I am, why is it insane? Either thats a neg or a compliment lol. I've gotten plenty of women, I just want more QUALITY women. I've had ex gfs who didn't mind and hell some of em practically lived with me. My most recent ex drove an hour and stayed with me for like a week at a time and we fucked like rabbits but her values and non-driven personality made me leave her.

I also don't drive, but its for economical reasons. At least I can look forward to it in 3-5 years? Need to be prepared in case of getting kicked out of my parents place again. I rely on bus transit 60-100 minutes to and from work, to get anywhere and basically been taking the bus all my life.

I posted about it before, and everyone said it was awesome cuz u get to meet girls on the bus. Depending on your area/what kinds of people ride the bus, that could be an advantage for you. And if you're doing well financially have more money to invest in other things. Also you don't need to find parking anywhere.

Disadvantages are having to take the bus to meet people places intsead of picking them up, not being able to go to parties in areas where bus service ends at 7-8pm, relying on could make you very late beyond your control, and if you're out all day, anything you bring with you has to be carried along in a bag/backpack/briefcase because there's nowhere to leave your stuff. This can be a problem going places with security measures in place.

But all this shouldn't effect your personality and how you present yourself. It isn't a dealbreaker... well maybe for shallow bitches it is but I just say fuck 'em, I want a girl who don't mind riding the bus with me.

Well at least you understand the situation a bit better than the other folks, it's austin, there is a large variety of people who get on the bus, but approaching them would take a different strategy as people get off at different stops before you etc. How do you approach women on the bus (if you have) do you get up and sit next to them or talk to them as they're looking for a seat?

I don't think it affects my personality or anything, I think it affects if I wanted to try and bounce or something or get with someone, if I'm good enough before hand and have a plan of where to go with the set, they ought to be able to give me a ride, yes? otherwise they look lame. lol.

The problem is buses quit running around the time you've already stated. it's like 9 or 10 here though, so it makes it hard to get out somewhere and not have a ride back.

I got 24/7 bus service on some main streets in LA. Have approached girls who are in range of me when sitting down. Standing on the bus I'm too busy watching the surroundings.

Also something I do alot, and I think I could even use it as an opener is when the bus is filling up, and every seats gonna be filled, get up and move next to a potential target and explain: Hey whatup, I'd rather be sitting here tha next to that guy (point to swarm of people getting on the bus). I don't do very many approached on these tho, cus the world is full of beautiful women and some ugly ones, the ugly ones are most of the bus passengers. The hot ones are usually plugged into ipod or texting/yapping away.

Well, it's like I said, sometimes it turns women off and sometimes it doesn't bother them. I usually have to see if someone else can take me to meet up sometimes whether it be my cousin or my roommate. My cousin is female so that works in my favor lol.

As for IOI's, dont get wrapped up about it! You could work it as your advantage as you have even more reason to approach girls!

If a girl asked me, "do you drive?" "I would probably say, WOW! I have just met you and your already trying to see how much money I have" and you can blag it and get a taxi poss! (a tip with taxi's is to befriend them, say you admire their knowledge of x place and inflame there ego about, I did this in London, UK and got my tariff reduced coz the guy said I treat him with respect that no1 else seems to do)
