So I've been studying this shit for about half a year. I think I know enough of the game to start practicing in the field, but for some reason, I can't get myself to go out and do it. It's just completely out of my comfort zone.

Those of you who have had some success already, what did you do to motivate yourself when you were just starting out?

If you don't have a group of friends that consistently goes out, I would suggest that you find your local PUA lair. Seriously, a group of PUA's to go out sarging with will make all the difference in the world. With night game, they can give you field analysis and help you improve. If you cant find anyone, just go out! Talk to as many people as you can. You'll make friends that will go out consistently. Try to go out 4 nights a week. With day game, do it everywhere! Work, school, walking down the street, buying shit at the store, getting coffee, w/e! Just get off your ass, and leave your damn house!

Other than that, if you don't feel like you are able to provide enough energy to people with night game, slam a cup of coffee at about 5 or 6 p.m. before you go out. Not only will it make you get bored with sets much easier, but it will make you more entertaining to be around.

Since you probably don't know another PUA I suggest going on a bootcamp.

Well here in the UK london based outfit "sarge school" do bootcamps for 149GBP (about $225) which I have personally attended and can recommend.

Before this I was in the same position as the original poster - simply unable to get past my AA. The thing is that your fighting a primal fear and no amount of "logic" or advice is going to overcome that. There is simply no substitute for having an experienced PUA go out with you and demonstrate that its really no big deal to talk to a bunch of strangers.

Even though most bootcamps are expensive you have to see the cost in perspective - can you put a price on turbo charging your social life ?.

Thanks for the video clip, and yes, I really want to see a PUA in action.

It's just hard to believe this stuff can work, and if I don't believe it, I can't do it.

I've considered paying for a seminar, but they're just so goddamn expensive. Can anyone recommend a cheap program here in the states?
