have i fucked up?

this chick has alot of game and is as cocky as hell...

number closed 1 week ago, chatted for an hour and def reached hooked point. been text msging all week, plenty sexual tention, made one phone call which went well.

6pm friday (1 week later) i call her asking what shes up to. says she is working tonight at a bar, says i should call on my way into town and maybe i stop by to say hi (i was clubbing in town anyway). i call she didnt answer. i also know she had no air time so she couldnt call me back even if she wanted to, but i wasnt going to call her again.

1 am that evening im at a club and she calls me from her boss's phone asking if she should come out and meet me. I said ye,she comes to see me. 20 min after she arrives i tried the 'close your eyes i have a surprise,hold out your hand', problem is half way through leaning in to kiss she opens her eyes and sees what im doing, says oh my word that is sooo lame (in a playful way), and rejects me. smiles and grabs my hand and pulls me to the bar and we get drinks.

an hour later while chatting to her i see her gazing into my eyes, that 'kiss me now' look,i leant in and kissed her. she went along with it

she gives me lift home at 4am, outside my place i go in for a kiss, she rejects me with a cocky smile and says 'good night vision'. she go's home. im out of cigarettes,get into my car and go to shop to buy some, i phone her on the way to ask if she got home safely as she was drunk and driving (i dnt normally do this). she said ya im fine where are you, i said im at shop getting food etc, shes like hey that sounds cool come pick me up im hungry too! i go pick her up from her place (just so happens she lives about 3 min away from me!), she comes out in her pyjama's and we go get food at an all-night shop. she says hey lets go eat this at your place. we go to my place,eat our food,talk shit on the sofa and end up falling asleep (she passed out).

next morning wake up...chit chat on my couch for about 2 hrs... shes lying down o her back and i walk over and sit down on couch next to her..she says umm why are you sitting right up in my face (in a cocky tone). i back away and go you are such a feak. maybe she thought i was going to kiss her and she wasnt comfortable with her morning breath i dont know.

i eventully take her home, she says hey we should go to the pub later (mutual friend was going there too) and asks if she can get a lift with me there and back). i say ya cool. as she gets out of car im very placid and neutral and say good bye...she leans over and kissses me on the lips and says thank you, i'l chat to you later. turns out that mutual friends werent going to pub so i called her and said im not going anymore, she said cool as she has to study anyway.

the next night i text msg her telling her how wicked the party is that we're at (she was working at the time). i get no reply back. no reply the following day either. that evening (sun eve) i text her asking if shes alive, she replied one word text msg with the name of the club that shes at. i send some teasing short comment and say have fun.

im battling to read this chick man. she wouldnt have come to my house and still kissed me good bye when i dropped her off if she wasnt interested. i dont understand why she is rejecting me every time i make the move for a proper kiss. starting to get annoying. is she fucking me around or do you think shes really into me? I need a 2nd opinion here...i know she WAS into me before this date thats for sure. maybe i fucked up somewhere. by the way shes 18, im 28

to be honest i wouldnt say 'i wish you could come', that sounds a bit needy to me....as if im not having enough fun on my own. I would go with 'you should come', subtle difference but hey.
i think youre 100% spot on here. she claims to only be this cocky with me and says shes normally 'very sweet'. well thanks for the confession love. she is def unsure about me and I really think its the age gap but I still thinks she likes me. I have actually thrown into my stories/convo's implying that our age gap is not abnormal (in a subtle and indirect way of course)...mentioned 'you know its the weirdest thing...all the girls i have been with in the past 3 months have been 18-21 yrs old, dont ask me why but blahdie blah...implying its not wrong for her to be into me.

2nd time she kissed back.
3rd time in the car when she dropped me off at my place. bounced me with a cocky smile and a kiss on the cheek
..then the next morning when i dropped her off at her place she leant in and pecked me on the lips. I havent tried (or seen her) again. this happened on sat morning.
Im starting to think the same...i normally have more than one on the go anyway (funny enough another one is 18 too and Ive k-closed her a few times in the last few days, she isnt full of shit though. dont ask me why but i dont normally go this young but theyre just there in front of me and when theyre hot i cant help myself). Also, these 2 i can actually have adult convo's with else i would have run a long time ago. she is more mature than my 25 yr old ex gfriend...and im not even joking. different upbringing and social circles make a big diff.
to be honest i think in some cases it makes it harder to read the young ones when youre so used to gaming older girls. anyway im just going to leave this one as you suggest and will only go for it if she comes back literally begging for it (whcih probably wont happen given her style). i aint contacting her from today so time will tell. problem is we get on like a house on fire so thought why the hell not.

She 'knows' Im a player and saw this from the beginning (my wing actually mentioned to her that I am a 'busy' guy and have a new girl every weekend!!!'... dont know how good that was for me in this case, with an older girl this would have been more appropriate)... and this is why she is playing so 'hard to get' with me.

No girl wants to be played by a player thats 10 yrs older than them, they are insecure enough as it is, the age gap and fact that I have a reputation as a player most certainly gives her more of a conservative approach. Either way Im fairly certain shes into me. Its just too obvious. She plays dam well though and its probably the reason I havent left yet.

the way i see it,the fact that your wing clued her into your premice,was a COCKBLOCK,why else would he say something so obsured?(the player on one football team doesnt tell the coach from the other what they're up too)but it can be manipulated into a good deal regardless,if she knows your a player,she's sure she has your attention,then she'll just toy with you,but if you jam the push/pull routine,she will think "he plays everyone else but not me? iwould say you went wrong with the pub thing but dont forget yo are 10rs older, she might have gotten cold feet at age dif or friends could have asked WTF?

also dont believe any of this bs that she is 18 therefore she is more insecure. i know 16yr olds who have zero insecurities, apart from weight but thats normal
