No you didnt play it wrong, some women wont kiss a guy the first time they meet. I would atleast have gone for the # close to make a second chance to get there. Cant always K close on night one. Some women are hard nuts to crack.

(whatever is convienient for you) Make it on your schedual and if she says she cant do it the day you suggest, push it off till the next week telling her you are buisy this week and that is really the only day you have open. (Even if it is not) This way you show a DHV and get the date. But keep it on your terms so she doesnt take control of things and turn you into her lap dog.
