Hey guys,
I met this girl who is pretty cute and probably my type, personality-wise.
She told me she had a 6yr old son, and she said (by email) it shouldn't affect meeting up at least once. I kinda ignored it and said "I don't have a mobile phone, I hope that doesn't change anything". :D
The other day we were talking about meeting up and what time etc and she said something like "I can be flexible for someone so handsome".
^This makes me think she does actually like me! lol

The thing is, what should I expect with a child in the picture? I can barely look after myself, never mind a child. :D
When you're out sarging does finding out the HB is a mum put you off?
I asked some friends if they'd ever go out with a single mum, and the answers were pretty much 'no'.
Any opinions welcome.

What do you want out of this? Single moms don't always look for a replacement father for their child. Some missed out on the fun they could of had in the last few years and just want to catch up.

If you want a LTR relation, think about it. The kid will be in the picture at some point. If you want a good FB or friend with benifits, the kid won't matter.

edit: this was typogalore!

If she was childless, definitely a LTR.

I dunno, we'll see. Kids know the score when they see me. They see someone just like them but who somehow managed to inhabit an adult's body

Honestly just do what you want. . . If you dont care about the kid, go for the LTR, especially since you really like her. Its really hard to find someone thats extremely compatible with you. I personally dont want a LTR, and the kid would seem like a little baggage that I wouldn't want to deal with. . . but thats me, alot of people have no problems with kids being in the picture. The best thing to remember is that all you have to do is what you want. Its pretty simple.

meh I say go for it as usual, I have met several girls with kids. A lot just want boyfriends and crap as usual (actually all probably do). They are normal people the kid shouldn't really factor into your decision. She can look after it herself so there is no pressure for you to be a father figure.
