How do you identify a shit test?

Would for instance:

Replying to an IM "saying brb"
"Hold my drink"
"Would u take me home?"
be examples of such tests?

Are shit test basically tests to see whether you would lower your value? And does being curteous mean lowering your value?

hoops - commands like ''hold my drink''
reply '' you got two hands or are you going to use your other hand for something''

frames - taking over context , i don't like those clubs , i don't like your shirt etc.

when someone tries to impede your personality then they are shit testing
if they trying to find out what you really want is congruenc/shit test.

would you take me home is differential... it could be a shit test , congruence test , compliance test.

if you go along easily and do what people ask you then your value drops, play hard to get

It can be a shit test. If you are too affected by the compliments it will show that you aren't so confident and you are reaction-seeking. I think the best way to handle it is to say "Thanks." in a disinterested way and change the subject.

A shit test is more or less a way of measuring your "strength/value/whatever".

If a girl doesnt like you she will tell you to go away or ignore you. If she is indifferent she will talk to other people and politely answer your questions.

If a girl on the other hand has interest (could be small so dont get your hopes up) but is uncertain whether you really got what it takes, she will shit test you. Seeing it like this, it could be an IOI really.
She is basically telling you what kind of shit test you need to pass. Just try to figure out what attraction switch it connects to.

Hoops, are shit tests. Shit tests are a larger group of "routines that girls use".

So how do you identify a shit test, she is trying to show that she does not respect you in some way, she asks for favors that makes no sense, she "AMOGs" you.

So basically this all emerged out of one thing a girl asked me. After a DHV she told me, you're pretty confident.

That was a shit test.

Now the old me would have DLV by admitting that I wasn't confident. The cocky person would have said Gee thanks, and maybe brushed her off.

I just spoke out and said "I like you, we should hang out together"

Bingo. Got a big IOI and am preparing to set up a date

Im not sure if its the general case, but I think theres a third choice in hoop theory. Apart from lowering your value or acting cocky, I think you can increase value by demonstrating that you won't stand for her shit test and call her out.

Thats how I deal with shittests. Thats the way to go (IMHO).

This is a way of taking over the frame. She was leading and now you are, you refuse to go in her direction.

Tests occur when the girl attempts to get you to specifically do something which will lower your value and make her less attracted. There are conscious and unconscious ways women test men.

Don't get too pre-occupied with tests, as most things women do are not tests.

But wouldn't this contradict wot we as PUA's are learning, since we are always trying to DHV. This would mean that we assume that women are always judging us, so we should always keep our value high so that we attract them.

Well we are all judging each other on some level. Being aware of it is not the same as giving it too much attention. To not care is also a DHV.
