I went out to a concert last night and a few parties. At the party I met a HB10 who thought she was like the shit so I thought some negs would work. I did a few shotgun negs and some sniper negs through out conversion between the switching of the bands but it seemed to just push her away faster than I expected. I tried reeling her back with some comments but I feel that I still came off as a dick.

What is the proper way to use negs? When should you use them? What kind of complements do you use to counter the neg?

Negs ARE NOT magical hyper NLP that work like a charm when you throw them like a spell.

As I can see from your information, you are pretty new to this. I prefer you to leave negs and canned stuff away. Just focus on making your personality something better. When I started, I also (of course) tried this canned stuff.

Canned stuff is just a small plus to your own game which is basically build on your confidence. If you are confident, you can build better game. You are not, your "building" you have build (=game) will fall down, because your base wasnt strong enough.

Negs must be delivered in a playful way and other people shouldn't get that your intention was to insult the girl. So I guess you should be more playful and use negs. There are some guys that just insult the girl and say "Well... the neg didn't work...". If you are not sure about a neg better replace it with teasing or something else which is more playful.

Sniper negs really are insults with other people present... i only use sniper negs when im 1 on 1. In any way you have to be little playful about it by making a joke or just smile.

At a HB 10 you can throw a few negs but this wasn't a HB10 i guess

Alright well as far as her "rating" goes, I would just say she was really hot and if not a 10 then something close. And yes, I was gonna say that I do think natural game works more for me, or atleast it did that night because later when I went to a party I ended up number closing with out using any negs or canned stuff. The number isn't a flake either. The negs I used on the girl at the concert went something like when I went for her water and she said no, I say to the group, "wow, is she always this selfish with you all?" and another one was when she told me she didn't like this other girl and one of her friends said that the other girl was pretty, I agreed but tried to bring it back by saying she had a cute nose or something like that.

i too have trouble with negs but i think a neg is also supposed to be a false desqualifier am i correct?

Don't use negs.

One thing about negs - if girl doesn't like you from the very start - they won't work and make you look like a complete moron. Just as all the rest of PUA staff.
On the contrary, if she likes you at the first glance - any neg would spice things up and make her like you even more.

Negs are a really misunderstood term.

Basically they usually mean either to tease or disqualify the girl to show her that you're used to beautiful women, not intimidated by her, or not interested.

They are also a very dated technology.

Teasing is great, and should be done with every girl because they like it.

Breaking rapport as negs aim to do also has a place in pickup.

Insults and being rude don't.
