I am a really good looking guy I am only 5'6 but Im 185lbs of mostly muscle (due to being in competitive lifting when I was younger I barley even work out anymore). All I can tell you is this I didnt get laid till I was 17 (Im now 22) and she wasn't even that good looking. I spent the better part of the next three years going to gym tranforming my body into this buff ripped up SOB only to find out that when I went out to the clubs or parties that there were guys who didnt even have close to my stats in the looks department who were taking home the hottest of girls (I was going home with none). I seriously felt hopless (pretty pathetic huh) so I just started reading and practicing (for about 2.5 years) and it has made the biggest difference (and like I said I barley workout anymore since I understand that this is the difference that makes the biggest difference in your success with wemon). I will never be able to say that looks dont matter at all, in fact I use my looks to my advantage when I can (because its one of the advantages I have) but I now believe that everone has an advantage in life that girls find attractive, you just have to learn how to show it off and use it to your advantage when your around attractive girls. I dont know if this will help you out at all, but I hope it will and if you get nothing else from this message I hope you will at least be asking yourself, if this guy is good looking then why the hell has he been studying and practicing this material for the last 2.5 years? Why would he spend his time and money on reading books and watching seminars if he was good looking?

Look in Hollywood, look at all the "omg hot guys".

Look at Robert Pattinson, Zac Efron, Jonas Brothers (I hate these guys all listed but girls like them lol)

They're all skinny/ wear tuxedos etc.

You want to be fit, not ripped/ buff.

I'm 5'8 140 and I'm afraid to work out any more or else I'd get too buff for the demographic.

Yes, it's true that good-looking guys don't need any sort of PUA and game.
They don't need to be creative, original or humorous to get laid. They can treat girl like rubbish and still get away with it. They can say something really stupid and unfunny, and the girl will still laugh her ass off. Girls give them blowjob on the first date. Girls don't send them through silly shit tests. Girls generally respect and treat them much better. And so on, and so forth.

And PUA is certainly using good ads (advertisement = lies) to sell its product. However, it's western society - everybody tryes to sell snow to escimos.

However, it's true that ugly guys also get hot chicks sometimes. It's a matter of luck, so just keep trying and hope, that luck will come across you some day.

And I am not the best-looking stud on the block. But I always remember that there are disabled people, people with permanent external injuries (knew one guy, who suffered fire burns all over his face), homeless people and hundreds of thousands of those who have it worse than that.

I don't believe in luck. Why , now , since I'm in the game and I can have beautiful women , and , before , I had just nothing. Why , am I lucky today, and I wasn't before. I think of myself as good looking. Look at mehow , mystery( I tell you about them , because everybody know who they are), look at them now , they exude charisma, they have girls , etc , and look at picture of them before. I saw a picture of mystery before his transformation , and he had ,the same face , I mean , no changes at all, and he had nothing. So looks matter , but not as much as you guys, think they matter.
There's no equality on this point , we all begin life with some " +" and some "-" , some guys have more "-" than others. I prefer to be realistic (the thread's author is quite pessimistic though).
I say, that it is still possible to get the girl, even if you look bad. Try to do the impossible and you get the best possible results. That's 100% truth.

But I remember reading an article on the internet about a guy, who got frustrated with ignorance on the online dating website, so he replaced his photos with the photos of a good-looking stud (his personality profile remained the same).
Same girls who ignored him previously replied to him this time and one of them even hinted a one-night stand after 4 or 5 messages.

I don't argue that PUA provides knowledge on male behavioural traits (something, that most men do not realize by default) and gives good basic ideas. But that's it. NEVER in London have I seen an ugly guy making out with a hot girl. And I tend to go out a lot.

All you can do, is protect your reality and ego from being hurt by rejection and that's it. Enjoy your life! It's free! And you only get one!

honestly simonsays looks dont matter. you can prove it evolutionarily - looks are NOT one of a womens attraction switches because it doesnt help her out. for guys its a huge attraction switch because it shows that a girl is healthy and can bare a child but for girls it doesnt help them out. guys care about replicating and girls care about surviving - and being ugly isnt going to affect your survival value because its based upon other things. i picked up an abcrombie model wearing sweat pants, a track shirt, and not shaving for a month (i looked like a hobo haha). its all the way you feel about yourself (its a self-fulfilling prophecy) if you keep thinking that looks matter than that is going to show - girls WILL NOT FIND YOU ATTRACTIVE. you need to take pride about who you are and show that and i will personally promise you that you will notice results.
