Never tried it before, so I wanted some input before I did...
Go up to a group and say:
ME "Can I ask you a question?"
HER: yeah, sure
ME "well my friend and I were arguing, and I just wanted a women's input...whats your opinion on plastic surgery?
HER: what do you mean? or why?, or what kind? etc...
ME: "well see, I think it's getting a little out of hand, and I personally am against it unless you have some serious defect...but my buddy says he's all for it...what do you think?"
HER: "well I guess I'm okay with it, why?"
ME: "I was just asking, because my sister wanted a new nose job, and she doesn't even need it! I'm telling her she's beautiful the way she is but she doesn't believe me"

and go on to the next topic...

Meh, it is ok. It isn't too interesting of an opener. But- it is opening a girl and creating conversation... just make sure you have something to follow up this conversation.

Next time, before you post a theoretical opener, field test your opener and let us know the results. No one can be exactly sure how a girl will react, so next time, do it before you post it.

I like it cause it will flip some of the switches in a womans brain to attract her to you, and you can neg a woman who is to into the plastic surgury by asking her what part of her is fake. (Not in those exact words though) You DHV by mentioning your friend, and you flip the family switch by bringing up your sister that you are reassuring of her beauty. I think it would work great in the field with the right body language and a good follow thru. Do some field tests and let us know how it works for you. I might try that one myself this weekend.....

I am going to try it this thursday at a friend's party unless I have the opportunity to do it sooner...my only problem is that I tend to choke up and don't really know where to take it after talking for a bit. RawWingman, how would you follow thru?

take out the "Can I ask you a question?" and replace with "Hey guys..."
