i feel like such a noob rite now.

hey guys i was reading through some posts about day 2 and this really good suggestion came up which mentioned among other things "cold reading". I looked in the thread with all the terms of importance and didint find it. what is it can someone give me an example, or a link to get aquainted with this term?

Cold reading in general is what fortune tellers, mentalists, medians etc use to look like they know all about you despite not knowing anything.

In PUA its used as a way of creating rapport with the person or show that you are an intuitive person. stuff like "Yeah, i can tell that you are quite open and outgoing, but from time to time you just need to take some time for you and you only" or something like that. Basically something you can say to anyone and have it fit for them.

British illusionist Derren Brown actually created something like a 10 page cold read for people, that they described was 90-100% accurate for them.

Yeah, even some of Derren Browns techniques can be GOLD in field. He even has an episode where he cold-reads a bunch of supermodels and one where he plays some tricks on stripers, and they are all awestruck.

i just had a day two. so nite before i decided to do some quick reading about palmastry, just what the lines are called very basic stuff.(beat myself up for not reading more!)

so i gave it a go, just talked about when her b day is : so ure a scorpio balh blah i used to read a bit about psychology and palmastry...

what happened next blew me away it was like seeing a kid getting his first ever playstation. she went nuts begging me to do some things on her so i did (good way to kino as well i realised) but my knowlage was soooo limited i had to improvise and kind of blew it...

who ever said this stuff is chick crack was not exaggerating.

need to work on some dhv too coz i sucked today, kept on thinkin stop bragging u fool!
