NOT a point where you get stuck with ONE SPECIFIC GIRL.

I think that guy turning her down is an opportunity for you to demonstrate higher value than that guy and move in for the kill. Now if she hooked up with him and the were steadily dating it could be more difficult. All that email shows is that shes comfortable enough with you to let you in on her love life, remember she does not have one-itis for you (yet). It seems like you're doing fine, albeit taking a long time to seal the deal. Just keep it up and don't give up yet and make sure you don't get one-itis either.
