Hi there I haven't been gaming for long but I've noticed soemthing strange...

A lot of what I've learned like Indirect openers, routines, etc etc Are great stuff but they're all about what the guy should be doing. I think in the field I'm doing it right but I've noticed there's been a few girls that actually SWITCH OFF MY attraction switches.

E.g When I make a joke she laughs... like the wicked witch from the east. Or really nasty teeth when she smiles.

I think it's pretty funny that all the stuff I've learned all assume a basic rule that I'm attracted to the girl ALL the way through. But a few times I'm almost tempted to say to her not as a rountine, you see what you did there? You just made your chances with me zero.

Has anyone else felt this?

I'm being picky, but that's who I am. I'm happy with that. See there's another side of me is saying, am I just too scared to close? and using this as an excuse.

You have to see this from both sides: The reason why PUAs have so many routines and so much midgame is because the girl is also sizing us up and has no permanent attitude of us from start to finish - everything in life is dynamic. Just as easily as you can be turned off by her, she can be turned off by you .. as AFCs we learned this all too well.

On the subject of making excuses, whether or not this is happening to you can only be determined by your own personal insight. I am a firm believer in the "good from afar, but far from good" motto. There are plenty of HB's that end up looking like snaggle-tooth once you get close to them and they smile. This is a great reason to end the conversation right there. BUT, if you are talking to an HB8 or HB9 and you find yourself wanted to end the conversation because she has a small piece of food stuck in her teeth, then there's a good chance that you're looking for an excuse to duck and run.
