Every now and then I receive IOI's from women so I make my approach and when I do they sometimes don't even respond. Talk about being cold and distant!
Why would a women seem interested then come off this way?

They do it because they are attention whores, they thrive on crushin guys. Or they are just bein nice and smiling back, but probably the first one. If they are cold and distant like that when u approach them, just pull out somethin gutless like, oh sorry, i didnt know it was a bad time of the month for you and walk away lol

Are we talking about one or two or a bunch of IOI's?

This will be one of two things, either you are misinterpreting natural movements or the girl loves attention. I have met loads of girls like this, who go out and see how many guys they can get to hit on them.

Indeed, I wouldn't really worry too much about any IOI's before you open.
I know a lot of girls that talks and admits at trying to get the attention of other guys and then just turn them down as an ego-boost.

Still, this is a natural thing that most women do if they have the chance, and I believe you would love to get attention as well, even if you didn't like the other person.

You got to see the big picture here. Its not all about IOIs and then youre fine.

1. You may misinterpret her signals. They may be for someone else. Touching her hair could just be touching her hair if it is in the wrong context.

2. You misinterpret her level of interest. She may be kind of interested but not enough to really care. How many girls that you see would you actually approach? Same thing.

3. Bad timing. She may be into you but not in front of her friends. Social pressure makes her not wanna acknowledge her interest in you before she knows her friends opinions.

4. You may be the backup plan. She wanna keep you around but she wanna try the better ones first.

5. She might wanna tease you.

6. She was thinking about something else that excited her and not about you at all, you just happened to be in the line of fire.

7. She is shy.

8. She wasnt looking in awe, she was looking at your ridiculus peacocking outfit.

9. You lost your game as soon as you approached, you did something wrong.

10. She wants to show disinterest in order to make you try harder.

11. She dont know what she wants.
