Yes, they make fun of us, but hey, its their job. And I can see where they are coming from.

Sometimes I feel that this community is kind of weird. Maybe thats not the appropiate word. I think of it like it was a house, where a window hasnt been open in a long time. People says both healthy and unhealthy things here, and for the unexperienced guys is really hard to make a distinction.

I dont like to be critical about people, but (just to name one) Mystery is not an example of "how to be", sure the guy has tons of charisma, but obviously he got good at this to fill a hole.

Often people come here with issues, and tru tons of effort they get good at picking up women, they become experts in the first 30 minutes of conversation, they can seduce a girl with ease, but thats just an aspect of a whole. You can rock at game and suck at life.

If you dont take care of other aspects of your life, you can be just like the cartoonish character of the video.

I agree. A lot of guys make a kind of pickup alter ego, and they are a completely different person around women than when they are just normal. This is unhealthy to a certain extent, because they on some level feel like they are constantly being dishonest to a women. I have always felt that rather than make up a false self, one should simply improve your true self.
