So I am in college and I have always thought this girl who is on the board of a club (lame I know) with me was pretty hot. I knew nothing could happen fast, so I have mostly ignored her, not complimented her, and made fun of her quite a bit. We are both in town for the summer, and she said in a chat recently how much she missed me. I suggested we get together sometime and she agreed. She texted me to hang out over july 4th but I was gone, now I am back and wondering what to do.

She has mentioned things like some "older" boyfriend but I just pretty much ignored it (I assumed a shit test, I don't think she is being truthful). So I obviously need to text/call her to hang out, but I have no idea what to do. I dont want it to end up with a LJBF, but I can't be too agressive either, because if she doesnt reciprocate, we still have to work together for 2 years.

Any suggestions?

What? There is a contradiction in that sentence.

You can't have it both ways. If she doesn't reciprocate then it's over. Unless, you can be friends.

If you don't telegraph you're interested in her then it will never get beyond the friend zone.
