so, i have to ask, is getting tons of babes and being a master at charming people something that makes you happy? _________________ i'm a sweaty, ugly nerd...

A Pick-up Artist is someone that constantly needs validation from girls to maintain his Pick-up self-image. Look at mystery, he gets institutionalized every few years or so because a girl broke his heart.
Too much of anything will never be good for you.
Pick up itself is fine though, aslong you don't make an identity out of it.
Relying on the outside world to boost you up=/=happyness

its a good question. I think the answer is, and no surprise here, that some PUAs are happy and some are not. Some people pick up because they are happy, some people pick up because it makes them happy.
An old friend and wingman of mine is not a happy dude. He is a pretty good PUA but he needs womens approval to feel good about himself. When he gets the girl, she isnt good enough anymore and he moves on to another target. He is deeply an unhappy dude. Good to sarge with though. He can play the role of PUA and not appear to need anything, but deep down there is something wrong in him because in all the years I known him, he never ever happy with any chick he ever got, so hes not getting something from all the PUs.
Like being a master of anything, there is no golden rule, some artists are happy, others are not. What can I say. No simple answer.
Most important thing though ... are you happy? _________________ _

I try not to get affected by external things but it's always the internal things which make you the saddest anyway meh all in all I am happy just stuck in a rut SPAM.

i've been thinking about seriously dedicating myself to this whole pua thing, but i'm just not certain if it will make me happier in the long run...
well, jordans wingman and mystery might've been miserable regardless of whether they became pua's or not.. so i guess the appropriate question is: are you happier now that you're a pua than you were before? _________________ i'm a sweaty, ugly nerd...

Without knowing anything about you I think I will go out on a limb and say that I think you will be happier if you devote yourself in some way to becoming a PUA.
My reasons are these;
1 - its a hobby that is challenging therefore rewarding in meeting the challenge
2 - the rewards of success can be very nice ( dont know about you but i love sex with hot women)
3 - it will make you more confident around women and men
4 - it will teach you to be strong and alpha (very important)
5 - it will make you part of a community (people like to be part of communities)
6 - it will be fun
7 - it will (if you commit to it and do it properly) remove your fear of rejection and make you independent of womens thoughts. Many men live in fear of rejection and what women think.
So I say give it a go.
Begin.
Know that the road wont be easy, like working out at the gym, it hurts at first, but its worth the work.
Go do it. _________________ _

The answer is yes.
I am imeasurably happier now than I was before and I am getting more sex from hot chicks than I can handle.
So yes. Simply put. Very very very hapy PUA here. _________________ _

But we're all human and it's natural for us to slip into depression and hard times. Just the overall lookout on my life is happier and I think it's because of the focus on inner game and confidence.
