First day in class today, saw a girl across the room constantly looking at me. I looked at her and we held eye contact for 2 seconds and she looked away. I waited around 30 seconds and looked her way again, and she was looking right back. I could see her constantly looking at me from my corner of my eye. Class was rushed out early so there was no good time to initiate conversation.

I go to class again tomorrow, what's a good way to open this besides just saying Hey, What's up?

i just think its really funny. obviously she does because it is her class so hopefully it would show your fun.

not field tested at all so.. could go either way

might just want to think of a school themed situational opener
