Sadly, a lot of the people in the community are really shopping for band-aids...

for inner game i dont think any book can tell you much
its just realizing what your personality really is, and then working it in with others
NLP books help a little with realizing what you really are like, if you cant figure it out yourself
i actually prefer to watch certain guys in action, and see how they do things and how girls react to them
i know many guys who have a great sense of humor, with a hint of sarcasm, and they were raised so proper that they are too humble. so they dont know about the power of their sense of humor and use it against themselves and psyche themselves out, thinking that girls wont think they are funny.
its really all trial and error. like sum1 said earlier, "everyone is different" i dont believe a book can tell you who you are, but maybe how to find who you are.

when i began to find my inner game, after learning about all the other things in the game, i would think back to my past experiences with women and saw that i naturally did a lot of the things the mPUAs do but never really knew it. so i began to focus on those traits i had. and it will all flow and workout for the best from there.
