OK there are tons and tons and tons of techniques, tricks, and strategies to use in PUA. so many that anyone trying to learn them all would be insane. I have read about half of Mysteries book, and hav looked on tons of PUA sites. and this just causes to much over thinking. which brings me to my question:

what would u say are the things a newbie to PUA should focus on?
just the bare essentials of PUA for now, before moving on to all the complex stuff.

Some of the basic things i think someone new should focus on
is just how to talk and be comfortable around people
once you can do that have fun with it



also instead of becoming a pickup encyclopedia get out there and approach!

i agree with mike. see if you can just go to a party where you barely know anyone and just talk to people. try to be the center of attention. telling stories is a great way to do this.

after you can do that, focus on approaching women. do this at a mall where you don't live. so your mind sees no consequences for being wierd cause you aren't ever going to see these people again.

once you get that down go back to the bar or party scene and work on sexual escalation.

take girls home, bang them.

Solid question. So far both answers are great and I'm only going to add my spin here.

Get out in the field and start talking with anything that moves, guys / girls / cats and dogs! Learn what sort of stuff you can get away with in public settings.

Find a friend / tutor in the game somebody that is involved or preferably knowledgeable in the game. This will help in a huge way! And then say you will go out X times a week and JUST DO IT!

When you go out, roll out and don't talk game, just take over the party / club and have a great time. The next day / after the night do your debrief and work on the points the next day.
