I've been working at a high end retail store for about 2 years now, and people know me well that i work with. That's the problem. This one girl started recently and i've casually talked to her. The fact that everyone at my work knows me and my personality so well makes it hard for me to attempt to get this girl. I've developed an alleged "womanizing" reputation based on past relationships. Clearly if i show interest in the girl she'll catch wind of this and probably be put off by it. I'm not used to attempting to pick up girls at work and im not too sure of how to go about it. My biggest fault is i can never tell when a girl is into me. I usually just go with it until it becomes painfully obvious in flirting and either she or I go caveman. I have a friend I work with who knows her, since she's his girlfriends good friend, and he tells me that shes a professional cheerleader which then throws me into the whole "out of my league" mentality. I just want to know where to go from here and what to do and what not to do.
