I had been planning this evening for a few days. On Tuesday my friend's girlfriend sent out an invite saying she was hosting a night at a club we all go to. So I knew my target would be there. Additionally, I had emailed my target a few days earlier and she seemed receptive.

We finally end up meeting up (she left the initial party early) at a bar with another girl and guy. The target is a little tipsy but I think everyone is excited to see me. Frame was very important here. I was excited to see everyone and kept the party SPAM going. I knew going in a couple topics I wanted to talk about and also had a great "advice" story. Just for the record this was far from a cold opening.

Anyway the target and I are vibing and my male friend says we should all go back to his place. We chit chat some more and then this is where I fuck up....I don't close the deal.

I got nervous and me and the target keep talking. But i didn't make a move....We had a window of say 15 minutes but I didn't even move over to her couch. WTF!!

We even had decent kino through out the evening but when it came time to close I didn't step up. So very disappointed in myself.

My friend comes back and we all go our ways (by this time it's 4:30 am). For what it is worth she did say she was looking forward to seeing me when I get back from a trip. I mentioned how I'd like her help in picking out a suit I need (good idea?) I was thinking a multi place date (mall/mini golf/dinner) next time we kick it.

I know next time we kick it I need to step it up.
