Posts: 64 | | im good at opening, let me introduce myself my name is ________, blah. im horrible at striking up small talk besides for if she has a unique clothing item or w/e, any tips on this?

Location: California, United States | | Improvise something to open with based on the environment, the appearance or behavior of the target/group, or anyhting completely random that is also interesting. If possible a statement not a question, so if they don't respond you werent left hanging, and can do an immediate takeaway.
No one rly cares what your name is when encountering you randomly in public, and you shouldnt have reason to care what anyone elses name is until you actually built comfort with them. As a general guideline I wait until she asks my name, which is also an IOI. _________________

There is that thing that you truly love... or hobby or w,e
For me it's CARS in general....
The idea is to start talking about what you love....
If they are into it they will talk about it....
The idea isn’t to talk about what you want.. its to get you pumped up and in a happy good mood....
ANY time I talk about cars its like opening my head... I just start talking ....about everything....
So find that thing that when you talk about it, it gets you psyched. _________________ -----------------------------
