Alright so I just recently became active in the game after being in a relationship, (which is something that I never should have stopped doing) and went out with some friends a few nights ago. At one point we ended up at a new bar in town. There was something off about this place, very bright, and open, yet littered with random tables. Anyway I spotted an open table and got my friends to come sit down, there were about 7 of us, half girls and guys.

So the waitress comes by, she is an HB9 and without thinking I just went into it...

HB9: Hey what can I get for you all?
Me: What are the specials?
HB9:bla bla bla
Me: Well what would you get?
HB9: I am a beer girl myself
Me: Which beer ?
HB9: I would go with a bud light
Me: Fantastic! That sounds perfect...Ill have a charona
HB9: Oh I see how it is she laughed, took everyone else’s orders

She came back, alot quicker than most bar waitresses do.

HB9: That will be $2.50
Me: Is that with your employee discount?
HB9: hahhah no, that is the special
Me: Oh so you think I am special?
She laughed and looked embarrassed I paid her and she left

She comes back again, and as before she was across the table facing me making it hard to hear.

HB9: Can I get you anything else?
I waved her over next to me as I asked her to come over next to me

HB9: What would like you like?
Me: From you?
HB9: Yea haha
Me: Right now?
HB9: Yea haha
Me: You could take a picture with a me

She smiled and said

HB9: Ill take a picture with you if you buy us both a shot
Me: well what did you have in mind?
HB9: How about vegas bombs

I wasnt really expecting that and so I went with it

She came back, literally like 20 seconds later, something I have never seen at a bar

She sets the drinks down, but she had a 3rd.

HB9: Ill be right back I just need to drop this off at another table! Im sorry!
Me: Oh I see how it works, well you should hurry up before I take them both
HB9: no no ill be right back! haha
She squeezed my shoulder and ran off...

...and she came right back

So we take a few pictures, take our shots, gave me a chance to kino

HB9: That will be 10 dollars.
Me: Oh I thought these were on the house?
HB9: haha

I hand her my card.

HB9: Would you like to open this?
Me: nah , (I forget what i said) I know she laughed though

But at this point, it was hard to tell if the IoIs were legit.

So she came right back again with the receipt

I started talking with my friends and was in no hurry to sign it. One of the girls I was with said that she looked interested and was really attractive. So just went ahead talking with my friends, having fun.

She came back less than a minute later but as I said, I was just having fun, and I asked her why she was being so pushy. I don’t remember all that happened after that, my game sorta fell off. She came back like 3 times in about 2 minutes. My friends were rushing me out, so just left her a tip and threw my number on the receipt. I figured screw it, it was AFC but what did I have to lose?

What I am looking for is where I was on, and where I flopped, and what I could have done instead for next time. At the very least this was a learning experience and helped to build my confidence so that next time I can close.

I have a little experiences with hired guns but havnt had much succsess with waitresses myself. To add onto your question a bit the one thing that I find so hard about them is to gauge their IOIs as it seems your having a simalar problem. With another girl it would be easy to say she was attracted but because shes in the hospitaltiy buisness i dont really know how to take this into account. Anyone know how to read these situations?

They get that every single time. Infact not giving your number and going back to that place would have been better.

In this conv. you communicated interest too soon + the vegas bomb thing DLVed you I guess because you wre another guy who she could rip off. I once had a girl who was a model for Bacardi and she would very openly admit how she could flirt with guys and get shots of the brand ! She liked me because from the first night I gave her a hard time with C&F and finally she bought me shots. She admitted later that never has a guy ever been able to have her buy him shots and thats how she knew that she wanted to date me.

C&F bro and show no interest w/ hired guns. That way you stand apart.

Yea that makes sense, I feel like at some point I had an opportunity, then totally blew it. How do you respond when they ask for thingas like drinks? Ask them to buy the first? steer it to another direction? Should i have asked her to sit down with us?
