Hey guys I am new to all of this and as I read the other posts in this section I too am another AFC. I too am hoping to glean information so I can approach women in a better manner. I do professional improv comedy and I ask myself all the time how I can make an ass of myself on stage but I can't start up conversation with women. I am the classic nice guy and shy around women or strange crowds. But, once I know people I can easily take over the conversation. How can I do that all the time? I guess that is why I am here to learn.

I am new to the scene too, but I am generally good at starting up a conversation.
When i was in 8th grade i was a huge reject. i think it helped me to realize that i need to change my image. What really made me realize the potential was one moment.

(yes band..) so i was in the band and there was actually a pretty cute girl at the first practice. It was kinda an orientation and just really relaxed. There was some time to talk. I was really nervous about talking to her because after all... i was a reject. Anyway i talked to her and she liked me a lot. we joked and stuff. She ended up ahving a huge crush on me.

Kinda long story but even though it was only highschool... the point is people who don't know you can easily be turned to one way or another of thinking about you. But if you are just energetic and fun well, it's hard not to enjoy someone like that being around isnt it?
