I was walking through the drug store and saw an hb8 looking at curling irons. I figured, what the hell, I'll approach, nothing to lose. So I go over, stand beside her looking at curling irons, turn to look over my shoulder and say "oh good, you can help me, which one of these things should I buy?". She instantly smiled and laughed, and ask "for a girlfriend" (you should know, I'm buzzed own pretty short). I said "no, thinking about trying something different" Laughs again. So I ask her name, get her to guess mine three times before I tell her mine, then eject. The goal today was to open. I do see her around the neighborhood sometimes, so I may have some ground work there, but no expectations.

Just curious, but why did you only open today? Sounds to me that it was going good.

good... you played it good since you see her alot she will have no problem talkin to you

A little bit of it was I was on my way to work, and short on time. Also, right now I'm working on opening for a few days.

Good opener. Getting her to laugh at pretty much everything you say is a huge IOI.

I was a little worried about it being a DLV, because I'm bald on top, but yeah, I got laughs, good eye contact, smiles, and she touched her hair. So I figure it was a small flaw.
