Hello My PUA Brothers in Crime,
Just wanted to post my opinions and recommendations on other PUA Forums I've seen and the PUA Literature I've read. I thought it might be helpful. If you all know of any other sources of good info, please share with the group. And yes, equally as important as learning the arts is applying the skills in the field via sarging.
Books:
- Venusian Arts Manual by Mystery - 10 out of 10; A must read for any PUA. I plan to read it again to review the theories.
- The Game by Style - 8 out of 10; Some good material, but written like a story, so many pages go by of storytelling between the valuable PUA material.
- The Art of the Approach by Thundercat - 10 out of 10 - To me, it was a must read. He goes into more detail many of the similar theories of the Mystery Method. Great section on openers.
- Double Your Dating by David DeAngelo - 5 out of 10 - I didn't find it all that helpful. Didn't have strong underlying lessons like the other books above. Doubt some of the material works.
- Swinggcat's Book - 0 out of 10 - Honestly, don't know because I paid for the book, but was never able to download it. Emailed the company, but never got a response.
Forums:
Pick Up Artist Forum (us) - 10 out of 10. Organization great. Lots of talented members contributing. Easy to follow. Low on bullshit posts.
www.fastseduction.com (aka mASF) - 5 out of 10. Too much info. Too many BS posts. Easy for any newbie or PUA to get overwhelmed by the sheer number of posts. Didn't find any threads worth following.
www.cejuice.com - 7 out of 10. Good info in a pretty organized fashion, but I think it's a read only thing. I didn't find anywhere anyone could put a post to share info. So I don't think it's really a forum.
www.pickupguide.com - 5 out of 10. Too much info. Too many BS posts. Easy for any newbie or PUA to get overwhelmed by the sheer number of posts. Didn't find any threads worth following.
Just my opinion, guys... As a new Venusian Artist, sometimes I find it's more important to learn a few underlying principles and apply them well than to get overwhelmed by too much info... much of which may be easily bullshit. Hope this post helps.
Respectfully,
M
