You know how in all PUA books it is said that hot girls get approached all the time, so you have to be top game to stand out?

Well, from my experience, I haven't seen any guys or my friends chatting up women on street.

Once I started picking up women like that I got compliments that only a very confident man can do that from which I suppose that these women don't get pickup up much on street at all.

Most of my friends just look at hot women, make some comment, but NEVER approach them.

Is this similar to where you live, too or maybe it's just my environment?

Hot girls don't get approached well very often.

That is to say, they may get the occasional meek "Can I buy you a drink?" or the (more common) obscenely drunk asshole doing catcalls in the corner of the bar, but rarely does a confident, intelligent, interesting man who is actually serious about his intent walk up and sweep them off their feet.

Which puts anybody who actively approaches head-and-shoulders above anybody who doesn't in terms of possibilities.

Of course, you still have to know what to do with those possibilities ...

Women rarely get approached on the streets, instead they get stared at and anyone who naturally makes conversation will try their luck and flirt (shopkeepers etc). Actual approaches usually happen in clubs, that is why day game is so effective.

Day-game few approaches, in a bar or club, once it's a more high energy enviroment and their is alcohol involved.

Well then.....

Most of your friends are total AFCs. Most men don't approach girls at all. But those few who do approach, make thousands of approaches, which in result makes hot women are being approach often. But approached by small amount of guys.

A lot of men do approach girls, but its not in the bars/clubs. Its at the work place party or the social get together, or a hobby/interest group of some kind. As these areas pretty much remove the AA of approach girls in bars/clubs. If you do any of these things take a look around you the next time you at one of these things. As I bet you will see how many guys actually approach the girls in those settings.
