Can any posters who are very experienced with day game, please list all the preferably field tested (situational, opinion related, and/or indirect) openers that work the best for you when approaching women (if you see from their hand they're not married) in day game supermarket - grocery store situations, that create situational comfort and also get a lady to open up. Where using kino can work in night game interactions, it'd probably freak most women out in a grocery - supermarket environment during the day or at night, depending on how friendly the lady is.

I mean openers you can use when seeing women shopping in an aisle and/or whom you're standing behind, while they're waiting in line at the register to pay for their stuff and also how do you calibrate any openers, when the woman is also shopping with a female or male friend or relative and is under a time constraint (that is, you know they don't want to spend too much time talking to you, to avoid ticking off the other person they're with).

With lightly tapping an attractive lady you're standing behind (who's waiting in a register line to pay for her stuff) and saying 'hi I'm Joe Blow, you seem really interesting', 'or how has your day been', it doesn't seem like it'd do much to get a lady to open up.

Unless the guy saying it is extremely good looking, I assume direct openers in supermarket – grocery store day game situations won't work (like 'hi you seem really attractive and interesting, so I thought I'd approach to get your number to call later') and are better suited to night club – bar, night game situations.

It's the same, you don't give IOI until you get her to say something that earns it. The pacing of everything is just a lot slower in the day time.

Also I find, if it's a scenario where people are waiting around and getting bored - in a line for an extended period, public transport, etc. you can open up with any generic thing "How's your day been" and they'll be glad to aleviate the bordom. In fact it could even be wierd to open up with an "interesting" opener, because it really isn't needed.

One tip is to go around the supermarket, and try to come up with something to open with depending on what section you're in, comments about the products, questions about them... remember them and use them later.

Supermarkets can be a good source for practice. I like to try and talk to girls on the tills a little bit

1/ People treat them pretty bad. I'm getting into the habit of saying hello to them and using their name, they nearly always have name badges. They must serve loads of people and no one bothers to talk remotely human to them. Well very old women on their last legs will talk to the girls for fucking ages! But that's about it. My ex wife did the job and trust me they are dying to be talked to!

2/ Typically you have to limit the talk as a queue will form behind you in a few minutes. So you have a ready made time constraint. one day I want to strike up a conversation with the girl serving and keep it going despite a queue building up behind me. If someone hints for me to stop. I'll them they are being rude. haha!

3/ the girls appear to be in 3 categories. The first young girls out of college or school trying earn a bit of money. Normally have tattoos and or piercings. A source for openings. The second category is the working mum, bored shitless having to do this humdrum nonsense to get money to survive. The third category are all the rest which I'm not interested in.

Supermarkets also provide opportunity for multiple hits. They are designed so that people look around. In fact it would be probably be weird to follow a girl directly, but you can scoot off somewhere else and come back and do that a few times.

Try flirting with the women that are dishing out the free samples of stuff. get them to give you loads!

I usually just try to bump into a girl and make sure they drop whatever the fuck they picking up in the supermarket and take it from there.

I would go up to her checking out a box of cereal, shampoo, or w/e and say: this one is much better (pointing to a different item with a grin). Then say how when I was a kid my mom always bought me this and i liked it/ disliked it whatever.

Also, if in the frozen food section make a tic tac toe grid using the fog, make an X in one spot, call her over and say: your turn (with a smile).

I say the best openers in a grocery store will be anything about food really. Ya it may seem obvious as all get out. But what girl doesn't like a guy that can cook?
Its actually not that risky as its a harmless game. It can actually work quite well actually due to the harmless and randomness of it.

Im very interested in this thread. I see alot of hotties at the grocery store and most of them are usually by themselves unlike at the mall.

That's why I'm a big fan of public transport and super markets, etc. places like this, people don't have a choice to go, they have to, so you will see all kinds of girls, not just the ones that like to go to clubs etc.

If they say something like: how old are you?, or give you a weirdo stare.
just say: wow your not very fun.

I absolutely love the idea of that tic tac toe opener. I was at the store today, and decided I'm going back to sarge tomorrow...expect a field report in the next 15-24 hours

So I went to two supermarkets here in America, and the frozen food section doors weren't frosty!

Guess it's gotta be right time, right place.

Open the freeezer door and leave it open for a bit. It will usually frost over. Especially if it's hot/humid.

I like it though....gotta try it.

Exactly what evoke said, leave it open for a bit. Close it for a bit, and then reopen.
