There's this girl I met at a shoe shop. A shop assistant. My wing and I were shopping for shoes/sneaks. But were agreed that she was into me. She was flirting etc. I think I could have number closed her. Anyway, the shoes I ordered weren't in stock, so she gave me a receipt to come back at some other point. at the moment I'm pushing game as far as possible. I decided I want to go back to the store and try and number close her.What would be the best way? How long should I wait?

Ahh this is some of my favourate past times.. flirting with the assistants at shops... so innocent.

A good thing to have done would have been to give her our number so she could ring you when ur shoes are in

..but none the less just be fun and flirty, keep her on her toes, remember shes trying to sell you shoes.. she is the one that's going to have to jump through your hoops in order to do this

Then after qualifying her to the point of you finally accepting her, just add that when u first met her u were undecided about her and her creepy shoe selling techniques but now that you've got to know her she would be the kind of person you'd hang out with in real life. This is when you then get her number and after you do, spend another 5-10 minutes flirting with her, so she feels good about giving you that information rather than used.

OK,

So decided to go back into the shop a week later. And I had a little interaction prepared.

Got into the shop, saw her, went up and spoke to her and told her about the shoes I was going to buy.

She said she thought she remembered me.

I didn't say anything when I could have to escalate it. She then asked how I want to pay for the shoes and redirected me to the till.

In short, it was game over. I should have number closed her there and then when I first spoke to her.

Lessons:
Act on your windows of opportunity. The next time might not happen and will be too contrived for you to go ahead with it.
