I mostly listen to Techno before I go out. My favorites are Pendulum, Justice, Infected Mushrooms and Daft Punk. Most of their shit has a really fast and strong beat. It really gets you psyched before you get in so you're already warmed up :).

I can't believe no one has mentioned hair metal or glam here! :P Guess I was born after my time (as a side note Pantera used to be glam, were much better that way too!!! Hahaha)

Anyway the like of Ratt, Van Halen, Kiss, Motley Crue, Poison, WASP are definitely great for getting me pumped up. Also stuff like Manowar (yeah anyone who know's who they are will snigger), Metallica (first album) and others I can't be bothered to list also help. Basically a lot of very high energy heavy metal music gets me going! :D
