I've been pushing through my approach anxiety and opening... like today I ran the "My friend has two dogs" opener on the video counter girl (HB6)... She didn't have any suggestions and then told me to Google it... at which point I ejected since I didn't know what else to say. Should I go ahead and start running a routine... like the guess a number... or rings? I also keep asking women who performs the song "u spin me" and they never know... should I bust on them... like "Oh, your not much of a music person..." or something..? any suggestions... I'll open em up... I just don't know what to do once I'm in... help!! =)

Let's say you give an opener and a false time constraint, but they fail to get a conversation going. You can easily just use another opener. Or if the target doesn't respond to your opener, you can neg her on it and see if she responds. Don't use the routines until you actually get talking to her a little bit, unless your using like a magic routine as an opener itself.
