So I went away with a group of lads.

We had interaction with the female species obviously..

We went into a strip club and I was negging the stripper about her big Marge Simpson hair...My friend was standing with us observing this..She was loving it and was retaliating back.

At our hotel lobby, we got talking to this girl who ended up sitting with us..So now there were 4, including this girl..The conversation my other 2 friends were having with her was boring me to shreds! It was normal chat with nothing exciting going on..She was conversing back but it was just a 'normal' conversation! Then I threw in a few negs and the roar of laughter I got from her!

Then I overheard the lads, talking amongst themselves, that I talk to girls with the most dry humour, I'm alittle aggressive and it feels I'm about to get slapped by the girl (the NEGs I throw at the girls).. I don't feel this way at all coz I'm not insulting to my targets.

As we were walking in town, we were constantly approached by club rep girls...The lines that these guys would use! I wanted to top myself! "You have really nice eyes", "I'll come in the club if you're gonna be there", "I like your outfit"
Wtf!

Bottom line is tho, I didn't get laid!

But it was strange to see men just use the same crappy, cheesy lines on girls which they've probably heard countless times!

I hear what you are saying. It's entertaing watching guys hit on girls with the same tired lines and methods that DON'T work. Oh well, hopefully they will wake up some day...

I know that it is going off the original topic but just wanted to mention, that when decided to become a lover boy, I wanted to find the magic pill to get me into as many womens beds in the shortest possible time and discovered "the art of seduction" I was so shy at the time that i even felt embarrassed when the girl in W H Smith saw what I wanted to buy it.

Welll, i have the book next to my computer here and yet to be honest, other than the few pages he wrote about the type of the rake and Errol Flynn I thought the book was a load of shite. He just tries too hard to sound academic. I know he is an academic but the whole piece is just a long winded trip into nowhere.

Have you read it? What did you reckon to it?

Well Mr. E, in my opinion, the book is worth its weight in gold. I have read countless books covering the PUA lifestyle over the last few years and nothing gets to the point (without all the fancy acronyms and terms) like "the art of seduction". Calibrate, HB, AFC, IOI, yadda, yadda...it's no wonder some people get confused.

The 48 Laws of Power and The 33 Strategies of War are also excellent books. I have the 48 Laws in an ebook format and I am constantly referring back to it.

It is funny to watch some of the interactions guys try to have with girls when trying to pick up. Once I was at a party on my college campus and I over heard a guy trying really hard to impress a girl... he even brought up his "amazing oboe playing skills". Apparently he was really good at it in high school too! He wasn't kidding... needless to say, she wasn't hooked.

EDIT: No offense to oboe players haha.

I agree with SiNful it is easy to take the piss but you did no better than them. Plus I welcome normal conversation with a few technique sprinkled in it is so unbelievably powerful. They go into auto pilot you challenge them to maintain interest whilst escalating.

I guess to be honest, most of the laws would easily lend themselves to the world of seduction. In fact, R.G does in fact suggest that this is so. see detail on "enter into action with audacity" love the quote by Ninon Déclos.

I feel I didn't get laid or my chances were screwed coz there were too many men trying it with the girl I was gaming!

Coz I did chat to a few girls but then the others would intervene with shit conversations and the moments were gone.

Normally, my friends who understand what I'm trying to do would back off..They see I'm trying to get the girl and they'll let me have her.. This crew was on another level! Its like they've never talked to girls before!

You're blaming your lack of success on others when you're the only one who can take credit for your success or lack thereof. You need to learn how to deal with other men and women that enter the scene because if you can't then you don't really know how to attract women unless you're lucky enough to encounter them under a specific set of circumstances. Work on improving your ability to remain the center of their focus regardless of who shows up, whether it's their best girl friend, or one of their really cool guy friends.
