This post originates because I just saw an HB9 walking down the street towards me. I wanted to open her, but I didn't know how. So I just walked straight past. I thought about it for a bit, and I came up with this. What do you guys think?

Me: "Hey!!! How are you!" (pretending like we have met before)

Her: Either "Hi??" or "Do I know you?"

Me: "Nah, we don't know each other, but I thought that was the easiest way to get you to stop so I could say hi....!" (said with a smile)

nah man you have to pretent that you really thought she was someone you knew otherwise you've just admitted to wanting to be another guy trying to get in her pants

sorry,i agree with choppy, that immediately puts u at a disadvantage. rather put yourself in the position of knowing so many people that u could make a 'simple mistake' like that than come off as someone desperate to meet her. play it off as a genuine mistake and game from there. just my 2 cents, would be interested to know how it goes tho - try both ways

How about if you see the HB from far off, pretend to look at something either across the road or look into the passing shops, then bump her into her and pretend it was her fault.
Follow up with a C&F opener followed by time constraint+routine.

I don't believe you should bump into the girl cause it might make her angry. It's hard to do it just like you didn't mean to dump into her and it was her fault.

i think you should continue pretending like you know her. you could say "wow i havent seen you since grade school, do you still like horses?"

You guys are making it too hard, this is the funniest way to stop a girl on the street, it works better the hotter she is and the more confident she is about her beauty.

As a short intro: you are a pick up artist, you do things differently than an AFC, if you take her by surprise you will usually win her.

So this is the AFC scenario, girl drops something, the AFC guy rushes up to pick it up for her, help her out, he would run a mile after her if he had to, she has him around his finger, he is her bitch!

This is the mPUA way to do it, have some crazy item, like bling or peacocking stuff, as you approach the girl, pretend you haven't even seen her as you get closer.
About 4ft before you pass her, drop your item, (don't use a ming vase or something stupid obvious lol)
I use a necklace, pretend that it falls out of your back pocket and when she stops you to give it to you, have your DHV story ready and the routine of what you just dropped. ex. Oh this necklace was from my blah blah I make up a new one most of the time when I prepare to do this move.

Don't miss the great opportunity to neg her, with whatever neg you prefer, I sometimes use: "Oh look at you picking up my stuff like an old housewife.."

Most people are nice enough to help you out when you drop something, and this forces her to open up to you. You can also be abvious and just admit that you just wanted her attention.
If she doesn't pick it up for you, she is a bitch and who would want her anyway?

i agree with slywalker... getting her to come to you is the easiest way by far as the set has already been opened...

however could you please explain how a neg in this situation would benifit as she still would just be seeing you as a guy on the street telling a story about his necklas or wateva... i would love to understand wat negs you could use and in wat way so they are not taken as randomly offensive or wateva...

C&F stands for Cocky and Funny and is a technique designed by david de angelo, it's pretty much self explanatory that you are cocky and funny at the same time. Neil Strauss descibes this as he meets David de angelo in his book "the game"

For my use of the neg I would first like to say that I normally don't just throw negs around randomly, that will make you appear as an ass! and noone likes an ass, girls my like jerks, but not asses (you can quote me on that lol).

But, having said that I also want to mention that to get attention from a woman in such a casual situation you need to shock her in someway.
If you would just accept whatever she picked up for you and say "thanks" that would be exactly what she'd expect.
You are a pick up artist, you are NOT what she expects! That's why you should either neg her or say something cocky funny to throw her off, to destroy her guard, to break the usual routine, do you get what I mean?

I'll give you an example
So as you take your "item" back, touch her hands and say "wow for a girl you have really rough hands, do you do a lot of manual labor?" to a guy this may be a compliment but no girl want it to be obvious that she forgot to use her "body butter" that day. Now you have slightly offended her by "mistake" so save it by saying something like "well I like girls that are not afraid to use their hands, that can appear as tough instead of as helpless princesses" now all of a sudden you have changed the insult to something that sounds appealing to her, she will prefer to be tough rather than helpless, and she will prove to you in one way or another that she is tough, and all of a sudden you have the upper hand and are in control of the situation!

This was just an example, but imagine the scenario in your head and create your own, I hope this helped you.

Well i came up with one idea witch is not field tested but could work for musicians...

So HB is approaching you in the street and when she is near you drop your ring ( or something peacock stuff ) and totally ignore her and just keep walking foward. When the HB turns to say that you dropped your ring you could say something like this

HB: HEY! you dropped this ring..
You: hmm.. thats wierd, i tought i left it next to my bed after yesterdays show
HB: ah, ok.. well... here is your ring back
You: thanks, i got this ring from some crazy chick/ fan while i was doing a guitar solo.. so there i was, doing a solo and suddenly something flew in to my eye and i wasnt sure what it was.. few seconds later i noticed this ring on the stage floor
HB: haha, thats pretty funny
You: yeah, pretty wierd way to propose huh ? And now you are offering me a ring also!
HB: heh
You: maybe i could offer you a coffee for saving my day, consider it as a wedding gift
OR
you: you should come to see us next time free of charge when we play,you can bring few mates with you if you want
HB: sure
You: i just need your number so i can call you when i have the tickets for you and your mates ( now you have a number even you wouldnt have a show or you werent a guitarist or something and you can call her for quick date ^^ )
