hey all,

on weds i saw this girl again from the gym (check my other posts) and i managed to get a number close, first one ever i might add !, i tried calling her yesterday afternoon (thursday) but she didnt answer. not letting it bother me or anything but...tomorrow do i attempt to call her again or should i text? or wait even longer before doing something.

Attempt again pretty soon! Tommow is fine. Again, I would call this is personal preference because I like hearing someone's voice as I talk to them. There is a lot that can be gathered from voice tonalities, pauses, inflections, etc. Many will say to text her, but you loose some personal elements doing that.

By the way, the next time you are out and you are getting a number you might as well try to setup a Day 2 right then. Keep a few places in mind you typically take people. You are more likely to convert when you do that and can avoid a lot of pitfalls. Then all you have to do is call or text to confirm.

yeh cool ill try and give her a call again tomorrow. what had happened was id given myself a time constraint, especially as we were both on running machines and i wanted to move onto something else, plus she left minutes after anyway.

the plan is to call her, and after chatting for a bit, ask if she wants to hang out next week or something, then say something like id call her nearer the time to arrange something.

I've found it's better to call with a plan already in mind. Think of something that you find fun to do, call her up, and say 'hey, I'm going to go check out this awesome [insert whatever] and thought you might like to come along.' Don't linger on the phone chit chatting too much. Remember you're a busy man, who has many fun things going on, and she should feel special for getting an invitation to be a part of that!

i was planning to call her before i go see the blue man group tomorrow, im sure thatl shpow how busy i am lol.

thought id mention how i started off chatting to her on weds, which youl find funny.
id spoken to her a few times before but hadnt seen her for a couple weeks, mainly because i was sorting out transferring unis. anyway, after stepping out the changing rooms she walked past, and i nearly didnt recognise her. mainly because ive only seen her in her gym stuff.

i sorta double looked, we both said hey to each other, and i said i almost didnt recognise you. she laughed and smiled. then i carried on walking to the gym and she walked towards the female changing rooms. and i turned round and said...i dont think ive ever seen you with your clothes on' she started laughing and i was in shock i said that, constantly smiling, then said ill cya in there.

if your interested ill right how our convo went, whether or not it may be better i type it in field report.

guys ive just had a thought.....if she doesnt answer, do i leave a message?

Does she have your number? If not then maybe she doesn't pick up strange phone numbers, a lot of girls don't. Try texting her who you are perhaps. Or call again sometime within the next few days. Don't call more than 2 times a day, AT MOST. And don't get her into a habit of ignoring your phone calls. If she ignores it once then it will build negative momentum. Also if you leave a voicemail and she doesn't respond to it then it is pretty much OVER. Don't ever call again after having left a voicemail that was ignored.

Also game more girls, I know its your first #-close but you'll soon realize that numbers are FUCKING EASY. You'll start to get so many that you'll literally lose count. I've gotten hundreds before, numbers are nothing. What you do with them is whats really important. Or simply pushing as far as you can when you meet her instead of taking a phone number, but that takes a lot of balls. Also don't get attached to her just because shes your first number close, you'll have plenty soon enough. Good job on your first number and good luck.
