It doesn't make sense to a guy, but I'm telling you it's chick crack. It's a neg, a DHV and a very subtle IOI all in one.

You are demonstrating that

1) You are social, having a good time and surrounded by people who like you (social proof) - The DHV

2) You mentioned her in conversation and asked your friends' opinion about something relating to her - The subtle IOI

3) The fact that she lost "the vote" is ANOTHER DHV and an IOD

You can go wherever you want with that, a simple explanation you can use when she asks what the vote was on could be:

"I asked if they thought you were *trouble*, we think you are."

Two very important things you can notice about the two messages I have typed above are that they are both very short, and there is virtually no chance of coming off as rude/inconsiderate (note: these are totally seperate characteristics from being cocky/funny).
thanks for this mech. I just tried this out on this girl ive known for a while but havent really talked much or gone out at all.

I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

Ok, After a long strand of messaging (we never have as long of a conversation as we did last night...which is a good thing)

I did this because

1. it was late at night, and i was bored
2. just to see if something that us guys dont get.. would work on a girl

Over all I am pleased.... I plan on setting up a date with her when i see her next... I already have her number... we were in friends mode last year but i havent talked to her in a few months... whenever we text/message it is usually only 2 messages long and I am the last sender.

Well put, no one can tell anything in your actions though a text. Also you know how shitty phones can be some times, they don't get the message, she responded and you didn't get the messager. its a toss up.

texting all depends on age, if your roughly 16-18 texting is fine to pick up a girl
but 20+ it isnt because it might come across as cheap

i'm 16, and i always text, it works a treat whether its negging, complimenting or being cocky. Although, u will have to use emotion faces now and again for the girl to know your not being a jerk.

You made it obvious. When you know a girl is showing you interest, never point it out directly! When a woman shows interest in you, it's all pretty much subconscious. They don't really think about gaming like we do. And once you directly point it out, you make her aware of herself and you basically shoot yourself in the foot.

That was a shit test from her. Although you reacted the opposite of the obvious way: denying it, you reacted in the wrong way. You should have turned her over and said, "Dang, it's already been a few minutes and you're already trying to figure me out?"

See, now that's INDIRECTLY telling her, "You are interested in me." If she also denies it, even better.
