ive been wondering, how many of you guys drink when you go out and to what extent?

If I am sarging I drink but don't get drunk

Depends... When I go out just for sarging I do not drink, maybe just one drink or not at all. When I go out drinking I normally end up sarging anyway... But it is a good idea to not get drunk while sarging...

Dont drink.. but a friend of mine says drinking helped his game...but only to the extent AA didn't matter much. Most on here have hilarious stories about drinking and drug use while sarging that turned up bad. Some are good though, so i guess it depends on the person but in my opinon most want to remain sober.

if I am at club/bar/pub I am always drinking. If I go for sarging I drink only few shots, if I go for fun I drink a lot (and still end up sarging - just drunk )

Some people drink to loosen up but if you don't need to loosen up and your sarging I would recommend 1 to 2 drinks max. Although getting drunk is fun and usually results in some funny stories I guess either way you can't loose.

so it looks pretty split, pretty much your personality.

i drink alot when i go out/sarge. it seems to help my game so much. when im sober i put off a fun vibe, but its pretty cocky. when im drinking/drunk i convey the 'life of the party' type person without the cockyness.

in my setting where i game (college type setting) it is very rare to not drink and almost a dlv.

I really don't get how people can go out and not drink.

Its not just confidence and that of course. I do some good work when sober. Though drinking is fun.
Its....you just look weird to be in the club/pub/whatever and not be drinking. Drinking gives you something to do with your hands and makes you look like you actually belong there. You stand out in a bad way to not drink.

I think there are two things to consider. One, that's been talked about ,is the affect of alcohol on your game.

The other one would be to use alcohol as a crutch. To get past AA and maybe make some weird personality change. If that's the case, well I would say it's bad thing. In that case, I would not drink at all till I had a solid natural game.

i dont think it was, but if that was directed at me my response would be that i go out to have fun. i dont necessarily ever go 'sarging'. i go out with my friends or whoever actually and have fun. if i see a chick ill go talk to her yea, but i never go out solely with the intent to pick up chicks. i go out to have fun and party. picking up chicks is just a byproduct. thats why i enjoy drinking. it really has no effect on pickup. just how much fun i, and the people im with are having which naturally draws chicks in.

Nope Hucker. That was directed at me. Just addin to the discussion. I love to drink when I go out. I just try to keep make sure I personally always have the skills to get things done without any help.

Okay, I think that it is a personal choice, no big deal there. When you think about meeting women, you think about AA. It's only natural to drink a little to relax, given the settings, especially. I like to have one or two drinks. After that I see my game start to slide. I'm not as quick or witty, and I'm sure I don't look as put together and in control.

The other night I worked this girl then pulled away from her and when she came back up later I could tell I had too much to drink to game her and close (even though she re-opened me, by slapping my knee no less!)... it was a bday party though, so I hadn't gone out sarging. Still she was an HB 8 or so, and I opened her out of instinct. When she came back I wished I could game her.

I believe this topic comes up because Mystery's father was an alcoholic, so he never drank. He really hated drinking. I think that's why MM says not to do it. You read about his brief struggle with alcohol in The Game. Just thought that was an interesting aside. If it weren't in MM I think it would be a given that when you go out to clubs or bars to meet women you drink...

Depends on the situation, but it doesn't seem to influence my game or results.
