Hi guys.

I've been with a girl for many years, she broke up with me six months ago and I still obsess about her every day. I tried dating other women, I even did half of the "fuck 10 other women", but it is not helping at all. I even catch myself thinking about banging my ex while I'm banging someone else - definitely not healthy behaviour. It's driving me insane. How can I stop caring?

There is no easy answer to this. Honestly, if you have been apart for six months, been with other women, and still feel this way you might want to seriously consider speaking to a counselor that specializes in marriage/divorce. I'm not really sure what we will be able to tell you to help out.

You may need closure on your past relationship depeding on how and why it ended. You may need to call her up and talk to her so you can see she doesn't feel that same way anymore. This is why I recommend a professional in this instance so they can help you truly determine what is the best course of action for your specific situation.

Good Luck

Jon

There are books on this subject you might try. Search Amazon for "how to fall out of love".
