She just looked at you and you didn't even notice. Back to where we were, you opened this random set of girls that were talking and now you got a small chat some smiles but you feel things will not go so far (at least for now) and you eject from the set (ask for the names !!! so later on you can approach like she is your old friend, but take your time... build a time bridge between you eject and you come back) and you are alone once again, but you also saw some guys in the bar having a drink and you go there to have a drink, you do a small talk to the bartender and you turn your head around and start a small chat with the guys (any question or any comment will open guys... ) if things flow well then you can make a good SARGING BASE (a set that will allow you to go sarge and come back without any risk of losing interest or lowering your value) if things went wrong you can easily ask something to the bartender and once again look around.
At this point your target (you don't even know she will be your target... you haven't seen her, but she is cute) lost sight of you, she wasn't following every step you make but in case she looked around she might saw you talking with the bartender or with the guys.
You look around and you make eye contact with this cute girl (your target) and you like what you see (you should give a small smile if she holds the eye contact long enough) and you wait until she looks back to her friends. The moment of choice what to do...
She felt the attraction running through her blood the long eye contact and the smile were intense, she probably will tell her friends to look at you (discreetly).
You could go right there and open her, you had your approach invitation, but you see a 5 set of 3 girls and 2 guys next to your target. So you approach this set and just raise your glass to one of the girls and you say cheers, you ask her name (same purpose... you won't stay long in that set) you turn your head and say to the girl "I really think you are cute (smile)" (you just want to make a small chat like you know her so your target thinks that) she might say thanks and you just smile and say once again you say: "cheers, for the cute girls". You turn around and you approach your target... done. There is no way she will reject you... really... you displayed all the qualities a girl look in a guy.
This is not a step by step guide, I want you to analyze the purpose of each action, even if you can't close the girl you will have a Sarging base and a lot of sets all ready opened. It will always be easier to reopen a set than to open a set especially when the night goes on.
I will leave you with some advices on how to be social:
* Once again **SMILE** DO IT NOW SMILE WITH ME
* Look approachable. Do not cross your arms, this sends an uninviting vibe to someone who may want to come up and talk to you. Look open and inviting with a genuine smile.
* Open everybody you can.
* When making conversation, try to avoid asking questions that have yes or no answers, like "Do you live here in Chicago?" Instead, ask "How did you end up living here in Chicago?" or start conversations with "Tell me about..." This approach will create more opportunities for discussion and will keep the conversation going.
* Walk around and say hi to everyone you know.
* Have one level more of energy that the group you are talking to.
* Don't sit on a couch and wait for people to come to you. Get out and start conversations.
* Open about yourself
* Make eye contact
* The best moment to open is when you arrive, not at 1:00 am when you finally got the courage.
