Material overused?

Hi everyone,

while browsing through this forum, I found a post saying that for example the "jealous girlfriend opener" has been used so excessively that girls will recognize it as a line to pick them up, especially girls who get hit on a lot. Do you think that some of the material has been overused and thereby become ineffective or is it still "safe" to use this stuff?

Do you think that location and culture plays a role in that? I am currently in Australia but will go back to Germany in about 9 months.

Overuse of material is definitely a risk.
The PUA material is supposed to be used as a guideline, not a word for word canned-routine.
If you fear that you'll be caught with material, learn the psychology of the material, so that you can make it on the fly...
if that's impossible...make your own prior to going out.

Check this before using material you saw on TV or read in the game.
