ALL of us newbies i think really need to work on our inner game. Its very important to have a strong inner game when going out and approaching or doing anything else in life. Ive been thinking lately about "naturals" every successful person i have ever seen has always figured out how to overcome there insecurities they have about themselves. Whether its weight, looks, im not funny enough, im not tall enough, im not cool enough, etc.I know from personal experience, I have allowed my insecurities to overwhelm my ability to approach, escalate and generally speaking go after what I have wanted in my past. This includes in advancing in a job, meeting people, and so on. ALOT of inner game issues for people i believe comes from dealing with insecurities they have about themselves

I have begun to find a sense of security in realizing that everyone is insecure (hot girls included maybe more then most), it is however you deal with it that makes the difference. At times in my life, I have been insecure about my height, acne in HS, failure to meet other peoples standards for success, and my looks.Just admitting this to myself and allowing myself to accept these insecurities has allowed me to look past them and to go out and enjoy life and connect with people.
To me NO one is fully secure about themselves and insecurities will always linger, but accepting them and managing them you can overcome them and go out and be the best you can be.

So i decided to start a thread about being honest about your insecurities and admitting them here with other guys who are all working on overcoming them. Lets start moving on and moving forward.

I will go first. My insecurities are:

Fear of failure
i don't feel like im good looking
my height
i don't feel i should like im as successful as i should be

My biggest insecurity is, oddly enough, a fear of success. Strange, huh?

Through self-hypnosis you can actually get rid of ALL of your insecurities to the point you won't even be afraid of death itself. That's probably everybody's biggest: fear of death. If you go inside yourself in this way and discover your core essence you might actually experience a spiritual epiphany and understand the nature of oneness. When I was 19 this is what happened to me. It was like a near-death experience only I realized the inter-connectedness of all things. This lead to my discovery of my inner-potential and self-confidence. I wouldn't say that I don't fear dying today but I do believe I could accept my death with much less effort because I already said goodbye once. If you let go of everything you feel you "want" and reduce it to everything you "need".. you'll actually discover you don't need anything at all because you are an infinite construct of the universe/existence.. this gets a bit esoteric, but the mystical experience is a very real thing. It is reached by dissolving all of your insecurities about life. It is a kindof epiphany, enlightenment in which one realizes the true self is the everything and that we are all one, literally. E equals m c squared kindof thing. Would you like to learn self-hypnosis? I learned it when I was 16 from my high school psychology guru... I've used it for everything since and with NLP I'm creating methods that would make a man completely unstoppable if need be.

My biggest problem in connection with PU, is definitelly fear of getting rejected.

I'd like to avoid experiencing near-death situations, though. But self-hypnosis seems to be a very interesting approach. Can you give me some tips on where to start with that?

Yes I can. I'm going to go have a smoke and brb.. I'll post it under "General Discussion" and discuss the subject more thoroughly. WARNING. My posts are not light-reading. I challenge my readers to take everything I am saying very seriously. If you do as I instruct you can learn anything you want in record time. Self-hypnosis is a powerful tool. Has to do with tapping the subconscious and programming behavior through rehearsal and visualization. More later. I'll leave a link here when I finish it.

EDIT: I'm posting it in this forum: Beliefs and Confidence Building, Self-Esteem, and General Inner Game.
