why don't we plan on meeting up somewhere this weekend. It seems like we have a few people that are down.

I usually roll downtown, but i'm down to try something new if everyone is in north charleston or some other region.

we should meet up somewhere before we go out so we can discuss how deep we all are into the game and make sure we get everyone's name memorized before we start introducing each other around to girls and such.

just reply back into this thread if you are still up for it, and leave a suggestion for where you might like to go.

I think a non-sarge meeting to establish where we stand is a good idea as well. I could be out after 6pm this friday or I have all Sunday available. Downtown sounds good on either of those days. Reach a consensus on a meeting spot and I will be there. Incidently I am 23 years old.

i'm 27 and i'm not really going to drink....but being underage downtown can cut you out of a lot of stuff. If we meet at like...7pm on friday we will have ample time to get to know each other and we can hit up some restaurants or bars that aren't going to be carding that early.

hell the sun will be out, we could walk through marion square.

i should be good to go for about 7pm at Mellinium Music on the corner of king and calhoun.

if anyone has a better idea, lemmie know.

Mellinium Music sounds good; I may not be able to get there till like 7:30 or 8ish - live a couple hours away and not that familiar with the area.

Might I also recommend that we all peacock similar, so that we appear as a unit - not the same, that would be creepy and cliché, but rather all have the same style approach; i.e. no poca-dots or purple that sort of thing. Just general style guidelines.

sorry you can't make it out rawker.

i agree with S13ven about style guidelines. I personally don't go overboard with peacocking. I wear a watch and a bracelet and some rings...otherwise it's mainly a button up shirt or a t-shirt with a blazer, some dark pants or jeans and black shoes.

it really depends on what you are comfortable wearing. if someone shows up looking like Mystery i can pretty much promise it won't fly in charleston (no offense).

you have to be comfortable in what your wearing or you will project insecurity. I realize that you guys prolly know this stuff, but i just wanted to put it out there.

also...i'm not that agressive. I can game girls i have met, but i'm still freaked out by the approach. I'm sure most people are. Thats my current level. I rock cocky funny...mostly deangelo stuff.

Of course, i have no problem if you guys wanna do an approach binge and just shotgun the bar...as long as i'm not the only one going in blind :)

so friday at 7:00 at melinum. i'll see you guys there. just hit up this thread thursday or friday with what you will be wearing so i can recognize you when i get there.

Object I totally agree with everything you said and to be perfectly honest, I'm at just about the same level, but thats the idea right - to see where were at and get better right.

I'm probly gonna wear a black hat, maybe some rings, jeans and a button up or tee shirt w/ a blazar. Mostly darker colors, blacks, dark blues and maybe some white under tones - we'll see. It's nothing crazy, I know, but that's where I'm comforatable right now.

RIGHT!
I remember what it's called now, lol. Couldn't remember and it was killng me; it's called being in a "Tribe."

See below:

The point of peacocking is to stick out and if your in a tribe, surrounded by people of the same tribe, you blend in alot more rather than stand out. Would it be better to not belong to a tribe and have your own style as long as its not unattractive? Feed me with opinions.
You definitely want to belong to a tribe, especially if you have something less than an EXTREMELY good sense of style (not "your own style" -- style as it pertains to the world as a whole). Most people end up looking like dumbasses if they don't go with some general theme.

The whole "you should belong to a tribe that she either wants to be a part of or visit" idea doesn't pertain to peacocking specifically, but how to dress in general.
