Surprisingly im new to this....

A few of my mates have really got into all of this and they swear by it, so I have decided to have a rant.
I don't know any of the terms or sayings used when talking about gaming etc

Just now I have a girlfriend. So im not out as much as I used to be really. However I do try to get out with my mates as much as possible.
Looking at some of the "techniques" used by my mates they seem to have got into a system of pushing themselves onto every opportunity with some form of chat and the way they look has changed aswell.
However they all do look very similar in the way they look, with hats, bracelets and bringing out props to clubs for instance sun glasses etc.
I can see how most of this stuff works. However I used to have own methods.
When I was in clubs, I did pull nearly every time (insert modesty) from what I can remember.
I used some different methods. These were, as much eye contact as possible, I smiled alot and had a good dance. I mostly dressed in black t-shirts and dark jeans but pretty trendy, I like my designers.
Some "openers" you could say I used were,

Since I live in Glasgow, Easter house is probably one of the worst places in Glasgow to live. The opener was "let me guess......Easter house?" Then point at her. Then it would just escalate into a big funny argument about comparing where we both came from. Getting good information on the way aswell.
I can’t really remember any others. It was really just get drunk and dance attitude and it seemed to just happen, I usually can’t remember what Im saying because I was Sooo drunk half the time. But “taking the piss” out of them usually worked a treat.
Anything I could get my hands on, for instance the way they dressed, their hair , I would say stuff like “you really need to have either black or blonde hair in this day in age, anything in-between is just so common now isn’t it?” asking them, when they themselves had brown hair. Alot of sarcastic comments aswell but all in good humour.
Anyways just wondered what everyone thought of some of these

Very good. You're a natural. There is a section on this forum on natural game, you should comment on it. It would be nice to hear the perspective of a natural with no previous knowledge of pickup.

Also your friends are studying a very specific form of pickup, we don't all dress the same and carry props. That's just a techniques some pickup artists use to drawn attention to themselves in order to make conversations easier to start.
